Nintendo is going to release a special Celebi in an event coming up. The Celebi will reveal to you that Silver is Giovanni's son. Giovanni does not like that his son refuses to join Team Rocket. Then you get to fight Giovanni!

Nidoking - Level 42
Honchkrow - Level 43
Nidoqueen - Level 46
Kangaskhan - Level 40

What do you guys think about this new add-in? I think it looks to be very interesting, and I really want to get that Celebi so I can see this backstory for myself! ^-^

Hopefully it's good but i will need to get that celebi in my platinum game (have somebody trade with me from japan) when the event comes out.

They should have made his team like 50+ instead of only 40's.

Err, I highly doubt that counts as a spoiler since everyone who cares figured it out years ago <.<

It wasnt figured out. It was clearly stated in the manga with a FULL story ark

I am very disappointed with the levels too! I think he should be about the same level as Red with pokemon in the 70s and 80s. I really think they need some stronger people to fight in this game, and this would have been the perfect opportunity to do it. ^^;

He's only available in the event though, so I doubt it

The event can be activated at anytime, so the levels can't be equal to those of Red or Lance second time. Yeah it sucks that his levels are on par with his Gym Leader levels in R/B but it's still cool

I hope so too! I would really like it if he would hang out near his gym (since he's not the actual gym leader this time) after you beat him so you could re-battle him. That would be really awesome. ^__^

I dont get why he wouldnt train for 3 years though..

I'm disappointed with his levels. Levels 50s would be much better but ehhhh I hope that you can re-battle him or something. He doesn't seem to be any challenge in this game at all.
