Pokegear, now wrist attachable?

Well from the new Corocoro scans, it shows the new trainers wearing what appears to be Pokegear, but on their wrists. I guess this will mean it will work in the same way Poketches did with the touch screen.

Howeve the female is wearing hers on her backpack. Thoughts?

Wasn't the pokegear always meant to be on the wrist? I'm fine without D/P apps.. Just need a way to track the 3 beasts atleast.

The pokegear has to be the coolest of the personal devices they've made for trainers. He phone/radio and the few good D/P apps that were mentioned, there should also be a few more party status checkers, maybe one that tells you experience, or things of that sort. (only if they're going to put the Pokegear on the bottom screen.) Also, what did the Pokenav even do in R/S? Not much I guess, I can't remember.

I don't think the pokegear looks really good on the wrist personally, yet, I kind of think it looks nice on the backpack more so =). I am assuming that if you make it one of the items when you press "select", then it will appear on the wrist, if it even does in the actual game itself.

I never really used many of the apps from D/P, only the one with the map so that I could watch the trackers, and because it's convent when you're first learning your way around. As for the G/S apps, I hope they keep every single one of them, they were the best.

Another question is: Is it even the Pokégear? Looking at the CoroCoro pictures, and then the picture that Zeta linked of it in use, they seem different. The one in the CoroCoro pictures seems bigger, whereas the Pokégear in the other picture seems smaller. Thoughts?

I don't know, the thing on top is longer, as well as the Pokégear seems thicker. I don't know it may be because it's two different pictures. Either way, it got revamped in some way, shape, or form.
