WHATS THE BEST POKEMON TEAM FOR POKEMON HEART GOLD???

Your team is based purely on your personal preference, as in if you like raw power, defense to wear them down, or some combination of the two. I like raw power, but I know that for in-game you need a few helpful moves. Type difference is always key. Which starter did you choose?

I use the pokemon I like as well. Currently, ive only been fighting with my glorious fire types, but before I beat the game I chose my favorites in a variety of types.

He covers 8 of a maximum of 12 types, and those are solid pokemon. Post their movesets in I geuss strategy forum, the people there will give you tips. All I'm gonna say is, since i kinda suck at teams, that Snorlax should have Rest and BellyDrum, mine has those as well as Snore and BodySlam. It often works quite well with the possible paralysis, as well as regaining health and attacking with Snore as it does so. Plus, BellyDrum powers up BodySlam in exchange for half of max HP, but that cacn be recovered with Rest while still keeping the maxed out attack stat.

It can probably be better judged depending on you movesets for each Pokemon.
And you've got two dragons there so... maybe one of them could be changed?

Edit: This is in game right? If so then I'm guessing you'll trading all those Pokemon over besides Feraligatr?

i say ur teamshould be a combinaatoin of typyes and uses.ex. snorlax is a great normal type it is a good physical wall and good at physical attacks. typhosion is a good special attacker and isbasically a jack of all trades. the problem withthose two isthat they are pretty slow unless u consider stat values and natures. all i say is choose a team that u think is good. try to nave defensive walls, and offensive warriors. also have a sppedy factor within all of them. and try to have a pokemon that can set up types of weather and pass on well things like agility using baton pass and inflict status alments. again consider stat values and natures to train them. hope u enjoy
