	Totodile in HH, Cyndaquil in SS, then I traded Cynda to Platinum, restarted and chose Chikorita. I prefer Totodile, though.

	quote eon800 Cyndaquil is the best of the Johto starters in-game(though none of them are that inspiring in competitive play). I know, they're the worst so far. Chickorita is the only Half-Decent Grass type in nearly the whole game.

	Chikorita but i never used it and when i got up to pewter city gym, i thought to my self 'Now is a good time to train it.'

	my was Cyndaquil at very first, but then i felt like chikorita and i was like naah and then cyndaquil again =) its easier to train
