	Wiki Pages Evolution Log in to remove this advertisement Well i know this isn't meant to happen and that a pokemons IVs should stay the same, but when my magby evolved into a magmar its characteristic changed from 'highly curious' to 'likes to thrash about'. I know if the IVs are the same the game will choose a characteristic randomly but highly curious meant it had 30 SP.ATK IVs where as likes to thrash means 31 ATK IVs. So yeah um any ideas?

	From what I know IVs cannot be changed so you should be ok. That doesn't explain the characteristic change though never heard of anything like that. Was it holding anything? -------------------

	It was holding the exp share at the time but that shouldnt change anything. Using an IV calculator I always knew it had high SP.ATK and ATK and it doesn't look like anythings really changed, but its still weird.
