Shiny pokemon, woo!

ummm...didn't you just post in a thread like this?

I never met one, bad luck.

i was lucky i met 2 shinies in a row without the pokeradar last year
and i got the red gyrados from the lake of rage Oh and i got the pikachu coloured pichu(don't know if it counts because it was an event.)

the two shinies i got in row were a shiny cubone(green) and a shiny fearow(gold)

FIRST thing i have to say is that these shinys if you wanna find one random encounter legit way...then it takes you like 1-2 years to get like 3-4 shinys (if you play like AT LEAST 2 hours per day)


well my first random encounter shiny was in Pokemon Gold on GBC, Farfetch'd.

then in Ruby found in 1 year and a half shiny Illumise and shiny Cavanha in consecutive battles (was at like 11 PM so i thought im sleeping...good thing i had some Ultra balls)

and last year on Diamond a shiny Starley ran away because he was in Saffari Zone and couldn't catch it >.< worst day of my life...

rest of the LEGIT shinys i have (Mew, Golbat, Steelix, Cyndaquile,Porygon-Z, Shuckle and so on...) were from some trades i made on this forum xD

btw the chance to find a shiny is like 0,067% or so...but in Diamond version you can get to a max of 0,5% chance (still can't make 40 chains in pokeradar >.< i guess it hates me...)

true...but... some peoples soft reset in front of a legendary till they find it shiny...thats the only way how you can actively shiny hunt some rare pokemons...but wandering in the same place, in the same patches to find a particular shiny is more than a no life boring job to do x.x

EDIT (for the last post i wrote...too lazy to do the edit there) : just found shiny Goldeen near the Power Plant in Kanto yay! (Soul Silver 30:21 hours atm...yay random encounter shiny time record )

Searching for a Shiny must be the most boring thing ever. D:
I've never ever seen one myself. 3: I have some but they were traded for.
