	1st place in bug catching contest gives you a random evolutionary stone. Other than that, 5% of Solrocks hold them and on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, they can be bought for 3000P at the Dome after you have the National Dex. 	Getting them from the Pokethlon dome is pretty easy though. I just spammed the Power contest with Pokemon that had good power stats about 10 times to get the fire stone and metal coat I needed for Arcanine and Scizor. I would just play in the Pokethlon a ton of times to store up points, then just check every day to see if they have the stone you need in the store inside the Pokethlon. You can get all the evolutionary stones there, plus metal coat, kings rock, and a bunch of other rare-ish items like heart scales.

	I found it quite easy getting sun stones in the bug catching competition, in fact, it's all I've gotten for 1st place so far. I found the easiest way was to find a Scyther or Pinsir, and catch them without hurting or inflicting any status ailments on them, then finishing the competition early. It took me about 5 minutes on average to win each bug catching competition (shame there's only 3 days you can compete in it though). ------------------- Dark Souls \| Dark Souls II

	In the original Gold/Silver that's how it was... Every guide I've seen on getting the stones seems to say that you can get a random evolution stone, but I would be willing to bet it's only the Sun Stone for winning the bug catching contest since that's how it was in the originals. Edit: Oh, it's the National Dex that lets you get all the stones... nevermind then! ^-^
