Heart Scales - Page 2

Use the item finder near Ralph the fisherman. Route 32. You'll need surf. Surf until you're in the square next to the dot, facing it, and press A to check. There should be a heart scale there. Or at least... there was for me.

To get the item finder (if you don't have it) Go to a guy in a house in Ecruteak City. He'll speak a little and give it you, saying that there are a lot of items in Burned Tower. Use it a lot, you get Nuggets and Stardusts and such. It's a really good tool to have when you want free things.

And remember that your character can only see one step in front of them. If you're standing on the dot, they won't be able to see it.

Check the lanterns and bins also, as you can get things from those.

On the map, if there's an exclamation mark in a red bubble when you select a route, it means someones called you from that route, and they want to give you something or have a battle. It's good, especially when you forget about them. ^__^;;

Am I just unlucky? Or is the chance of getting a Heart Scale from smashing rocks hard?
I could always do the Pokeathlon, but I do not have many pokemon and right now it isn't that fun. I get about 350 each time I play it, with the occasional 100 for winning. But I need 3 heart scales, which costs 3000.

cianwood i think is the best place to get some heart scales

or use pickup ability. takes awhile but with 6 aipom making up my team, wasn't that bad.

Dude, theres a list of heart scale locations in one of the first replies of this thread. Why not try looking through the thread before asking next time?

where abouts do u smash ur rocks? , iv been smashin in victory road for ages n i cant find 1!
