	Wiki Pages Heart Scale Log in to remove this advertisement Ok so I have been trying to get Heart Scales from Rock smashing rocks. So far I have gotten 1 Max Revive 8 Max Ethers 7 Old Ambers 7 Helix Fossils 14 Yellow Shards 5 Blue Shards 13 Red Shards 7 Green Shards and... 0 Heart Scales Am I just unlucky? Or is the chance of getting a Heart Scale from smashing rocks hard? I could always do the Pokeathlon, but I do not have many pokemon and right now it isn't that fun. I get about 350 each time I play it, with the occasional 100 for winning. But I need 3 heart scales, which costs 3000.

	Heart Scales are only available at: Cianwood City, Dark Cave, Route 19, Vermilion City, and Victory Road; be sure you are rock smashing at these locations.

Maybe later in the game I would decide to level one up. I also almost never have to use Ethers, because I budget my moves. And I usually just use regular revives. But I could use the max one during the Elite Four if needed. But, I could use 6 of the Old Amber and have a team of Aerodactyl!!!

	I have smashed 2 rocks in Heart Gold so far 1. Heart Scale 2. Shuckle maybe I should do this more often....
