^You could have just edited your post >_> If you have an action replay, you just add the codes to the game (Heart Gold) save, and activate, I assume. Then boot up the game with the codes you want turned on (beware of conflicts in codes).

Well, there isn't a code (so far as I know) to go back and time to see him (that would be cool, I didn't know these events involved actual events), but there is an event code to get Celebi into your PC box 1 slot 1 (so remove any pokemon that is already in that slot) that works with the US version (also a Mew code), but the names (text where their names are) is in Japanese, but they still play fine.

In both cases, you just press L and R at the same time and go to the box.

go to serebii and look up the celebi event. When you take this Celebi to the ilex shrine you go back in time 3 years and see your rival arguing with his father (GIOVANNI!!) his dad is mad because his son wont join team rocket. It then goes ahead three years to Giovanni in a cave with a radio listening to team rockets take over of the radio tower. He is all excited until he sees you, you battle him and beat him. He says you remind if another trainer who beat him once before (Red). Then i guess he decides not to pursue his plans at reviving team rocket. Then you travel back into your normal time and the event is over.
