shiny pokemon encounters - Page 5

I got Red Gyrados from both versions and yet neither of them were a female version.

i got shiny slowpoke. i got lost ina cave and right when i thought all hope was lost. i didnt know it was shiny till my friend pointed out that it sparkled at the start of the battle. I named it Slowjoke idk tho. The only shiny i want is heracross or w.e its called. you know that beetle thing?

They seem rarer in the newer versions of the game.

I do, because I count any pokemon that you encounter that is shiny, as a shiny encounter.

I've never seen a shiny at all, unless you count Red Gyarados.

1. Shiny Geodude
So when i had already been playing pokemon for about a year i got really hooked on it, it was either emerald or ruby. so one day as i was going through magma hideout(the one with groudons first appearance) my friend called me so i answered the phone.Remember, i had NO idea about shinies!!! so we start talking and of course i get distracted and the music starts playing for the battle and like what everyone else does i go aawww. and BAM!!!!!! shiny female geodude, sucks that i was a noob and only 2 pokeballs that failed on me. yes 2 POKEBALLS, the worst type.


2. Shiny NidoranFemale

Well i was craving my first shiny capture that whole week. so i was raising my team for whitney(Soul Silver)and 1 battle and my pokemon would level up so i went north of goldenrod city but south of national park and i fight wild pokemon. the first 1 i level up from and as i go to leave BAM!!! shiny nidoran(female.0 i had ultrabalss so i caught it!!!!Best day eva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
