Mew and Arseus

Well Mew is said to be the "Ancestor of Pokemon" But Arseus on the other hand is said to be the "God Of all Pokemon" so....... Why is that

I think Mew is the Adam and Eve of pokemon, Being the ancestor and all, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina are just the God's of their respective area's and so Arceus, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina arn't Pokemon as such they are God's and the Lake Spirits are simply spirits that control emotion. Mew is the First Pokemon that was created after the 'pokemon' that we're required to keep the world in sync.

No Mew is ancestor of all pokemon but he doesn't have any power to materialize anything. So he couldn't had created Arcues. So ratherly. Arcues were hatched from the first egg and created the universe and made Sinnoh. Arcues materialized FOUR eggs. Giratina, Diagla, Palkia, MEW all hatched from those eggs. But since Mew hatched first which Arcues didn't except him to do and so Mew escaped Arcues's power and begin to rebel Arcues that Arcues was forced to make two eggs. These eggs are Grouden and Kyogre. But they both went on rampage. Grouden created Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. Kyogre formed waters and flooded the rest of world other than the created lands. They both fought and Arcues had no choice but to force them to sleep. Mew continue to rebel against Arcues that he was forced to make Ho-Oh and Lugia to fight them. Lugia refused and escaped into water and hid himself in trench. Ho-Oh went on to fight Mew but lost and feared that Arcues would erased him out of existance and flee into sky and hid himself in clouds. Arcues became very furious and made humans and hoped they'll capture Mew. The scientists that had D.N.A of mew and created MEWTWO. Arcues became very enraged and forced himself to go to sleep to never create more things that'll only cause troubles. He created a flute that will be the only thing that wake him up. Simple enough?

so then... what if arcues isn't quite a pokemon, but he did everything rex said except he created hundreds of thoasands of mews and they evolved differently into all the pokemons starter forms(like pidgey or sandshrew making him the ancestor of all pokemon exept legendarys) and arcues created lugia after kyogre was put to sleep to watch the sea's from below and he created ho-oh to watch over the ground from the sky after groudon was put to sleep

Jon's explanation is most likely correct. Mew arent legendary really, theyre more like... Dinosaurs!

Mew were a species, hence the pokemon 1st movie shows about that.

Their move transform is used to show its evolution.
