The fact whether it's in or not was more of a joke. Skate boarding is always in for little kids. The terrain issue was my main point.

i think it will be something like the Mach Bike and Acro Bike in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. where you could choose which one you want and you could trade in the bike you chose for the other if you wanted/needed to. except in this case it would be bicycle or skateboard.

The Bicycle is the only way to get around the Pokemon world, replacing it would be like... just wrong.

A skateboard would have been an interesting concept, around Red/Blue/Yellow, but just throwing it in now... yeah, it just won't fit.

if a skate board was added they would most likely just have a some kind of skate park of somesort or just a little area to do tricks and get points for fun... but wouldnt that most liekly lead to 3rd person content?

i would pick the bike i dont mind skateboarding but i would rather stick with the original
