Insanity Prevails said 'external events outside of other Pokémon games', so mew doesn't count, as you can get it from another pokemon game. It just happnes that it's not a core game.

The same goes for Jirachi (which can be gotten from the colloseum bonus disc in the US, and Pokemon Channel in the UK) and technically Manaphy, as you only need a code, which can be gotten easily from the internet, to get it from the original pokemon Ranger.

also celebi can be obtained in G/S/C with a glitch, it requires a ton of luck or pokemon stadium 2

I think it would be stupid to exclude glitches. For example, you can get Mew via a glitch, but did Nintendo plan that? No, hence why its a glitch. Thus, the only legitimate way of getting it is via out of game events.

I can't see them putting Celebi in the game anyway. It wasn't in the previous ones, and they have no reason to bother putting it in anyway?

Celebi can only be gotten in america, NEVER!! All in america are cheats. And also, there is a special event you can activate by trading the special pikachu colored pichu you can get from a download event. I hope it has something to do with celebi.

Have you ever heard of trading for them with people in japan and making clones of them.
