I think he saw a screenshot somewhere on youtube.
He doesn't lie about stuff like this, but I have my doubts as well just to let you know.

Well, walk a bit faster so snorlax has room, or tell him to back off. I don't think they need to be on your ass the whole time. I'm interested in seeing other info about this come up soon. Info is coming faster than I expected, but not as fast as I wanted.

It'd be pretty awesome to have the first Pokemon in your party follow you but it'll probably end up only being a select few of "cute" Pokemon following you, like in Amity Square.

I think it will just be your starter that's aloud to follow, I think it would be a bit much to let like most things follow. Would be a different experience though.

In screen shots I've only seen starters following you, and I've seen other ones with nothing following.
I don't think it's going to be as prevalent as it seems, just most of the screenshots are from the very beginning of the game.

Hmm..well if they follow you and you turn around to talk to it, is every individual Pokemon going to have an animation like Pikachu did?

I don't think it would make sense for most of them to follow.. I could forsee the starters from Johto, Eevee, and Pikachu following. Not the evolutions though.

There's nothing special, it's that they're reasonably sized to fit in the tile that the player occupies in the overworld.

Also, you just freaking mentioned Pikachu. Daft!
