Red Gyarados - Page 4

They should have made ordinary shiny Gyarados a different colour, then the red ones would be much more prized.

One thing will get on my nerves that will be a massive red gyarados trading spam to get something better.

yeh but you didnt have to. Although I've gotta admit that did make me feel a bit guilty holding onto it.

Also there was sudowoodo of course. And the snorlax's in kanto that you had to wake up using the radio. Ah man I forgot about the radio, let's hope they bring that back too that was awesome. The way they made use of the features man, that was cool. they actually had some purpose.

The red Gyarados was a part of the storyline, as it WAS where you first met Lance. And the Shiny Garadoses already out there, will become WORTHLESS due to the in-game garanteed catch. I have a Red Gyara in the Pearl, and I need to do something about it, dispite me wanting to save and trade for some better GSC Legendary in HG/SS :/

I don't see why everyone says the Gyarados was a big part in the story. All that happened was:

You go to Mahogony Town. You can't fight the gym leader. You can't procede to the Ice Cave. You're only option is to go up to the lake. You meet Lance. He tells you about the Gyarados. You go and fight the Gyarados.

You could easily meet Lance earlier in the game, at the Slowpoke Well perhaps?

I wouldn't be sad if they took it out, but I wouldn't be thrilled...

They may wanna like, make legit Gyara a dark red, and the in game one be like a pinkish
