Wannabe tough guy. He was a good charachter until he gone all insane and such. Kharg might be your random charachter but least he doesn't have a "sad past" Lik 95% of all JRPG charachters do

	I always found Darc to be just as stereotypical a JRPG character as Kharg. He's the brooding, dark, fangirl-bait character that you've seen ten billion times before. I'm not saying I hate him, it's just unfair to call Kharg out on his typical young hero characterization without doing the same for Darc's typical brooding anti-hero characterization.

	I have to agree with the above posts, I always felt they're too generic. You have Darc, the anti-hero with a sad past who wants nothing other than power and will go to whatever means necessary to get it. Then you have Kharg, the rich, spoiled and naive mama's boy. Don't get me wrong though, I love the game and the characters (<3 Bebedora) and I've played through it several times. It's just thoughts that have been in the back of my head. If I had to pick though, I'd say Darc. He's just...better than Darc in every way. He has a cooler design, better offense, cooler and stronger techniques and the way he struggles for peace albeit in the wrong way yet the only way he knows. He's just a more intriguing character than Kharg is, and Darc would beat him in a fight any day. And am I the only one who thought this was the cheesiest set of lines in the entire game?

	I usually prefer the lighter more carefree hereos to the Dark and edgy ones,but Darc did it much more for me than Kharg.I find Kharg to Mary sue. While I find Darc relatble as a kid I always was called a half and half or worse and I grew up in an all black neighborhood but always would call myself black,but eventually I just realized that I'm me.
