Log in to remove this sponsored message Magna Carta 2 - Quest Guide Disclaimer: This guide is the property of Neoseeker and may not be replicated, reproduced, or distributed anywhere else. -- Welcome to the Quest Guide for Magna Carta 2 which will attempt to place all the quests in chronological order so that you, as the player, may complete the game on the first play through with the appropriate Achichievements for conducting all Quests. A Quest is a task that can be assigned to you from a non-player character that is usually denoted on the field map by a green exclaimation mark over the top of their heads. Talking to such individuals will cause them to ask you to complete a task which will then, in turn, earn you a reward. A quest is not completed until certain conditions are fulfilled, or you talk to the quest originator after fulfilling the task. A tick in a bubble on the field map will denote an individual you need to converse with to complete a quest and take the reward. Please note that some quests are missable, and some require you to complete a previous quest to be able to initiate another. .:Disc 1 1) Kill the Clawpers Location: Highwind Island Contact: Melissa Guide: Defeat all the Clawpers on the beach of Highwind Island Shore. Speak with Bilter when complete. Reward: 350xp, 100 SID 2) Deliver the Tools Location: Highwind Island Contact: Heingel Guide: Collect the tools from the locked box near the Chief's House (The key is provided by Heingel when you first talk with him) and take them to Bilter at the barricade construction on the Highwind Island Shore. Reward: 250xp, 200 SID 3) Acquire Medicine Ingredients Location: Highwind Island Contact: Healer Guide: Either defeat or avoid the Mama Worm in Azurebell Forest and collect the Liandel Berries that it was guarding. Take these back to the healer. Reward: 350xp, 100 SID, Healing Seed x 2 (Alternatively if you take too long you'll receive a Pearl Amulet). 4) Deliver the Boxed Lunches Location: Highwind Island Contact: Liana Guide: Collect the lunches from Liana in the village and deliver them to Haman in Azurebell Forest Reward: 200xp 5) Obtain Hard Horns Location: Azurebell Forest Contact: Haman Guide: Slay the Pierce Worms found deeper in the forest until you collect five Hard Horns. Return these to Haman. Reward: 300xp, Belt of Defence [[Return to Highwind Island and progress the story by speaking with Zephie]] 6) Gather Gunpowder Grass! Location: Highwind Island Shore Contact: Melissa Guide: You will be asked to harvest grass that is growing around the general beach area. To harvest, approach a grass stalk and press the 'A' button. This will start a minigame where you will be prompted to press the 'A' button continuously to keep it within a small field. If you are successful at doing this as the time runs out, you will gain the harvest item. Perform this four times, and return to Melissa when completed. Reward: 400xp [[Continue to events of leaving Highwind Island]] 7) Poison Worms! Location: Abazat Field Contact: Southern Soldier Guide: Slay three Poison Worms in Abazet Field. They are distinguished by purple markings, and tend to travel with a pack of Pierce Worms. Return to the soldier when completed. Reward: 400xp, 300 SID, Ring od Detoxification 8) To the Kamond Mine Location: Abazet Contact: Yi-em Guide: Find the merchant on the outskirt of Abazet, before the bushes infront of the entrance to the city. He will run along and you will have to protect him. Target and take out all the monsters along the way. If there are any in the vicinity, he will stop and attempt to kill them himself. Don't let the monsters target him! If he dies, the quest is failed. Reward: 400xp, 800 SID, Belt of Magic Power 9) Generate Fire Kan Location: Kamond Mine Entrance Contact: Southern Soldier Guide: Simply have Crocell use his Fire Wizardry through normal attack. Create six Fire Kan and return to the soldier for your reward. Crocell's Signature Move 'Fire Tap' can create a mass of Fire Kan at a time. (He MUST have any Fireball style weapon equipped to generate Fire Kan). Reward: 300xp, 300 SID, Earring of the Red Sparrow 10) Hit it a Little Bit! Location: Kamond Mine Entrance Contact: Southern Soldier Guide: Defeat three Phongs in the Wild Forest and return for a reward. (Zephie's Wind based magic attacks can sometimes cause the Vertigo condition. Once afflicted, the Phongs will start taking normal damage). Reward: 250xp, 150 SID 11) Do a Soul Extraction Location: Kamond Mine Entrance Contact: Guild Staff Guide: When an enemy is near death, the Signature Move of Zephie's Rod is Soul Extraction. Sometimes the 'B' prompt will appear when an enemy is near death. When this occurs, press the button to perform the extraction. Zephie MUST be the party leader to perform this skill. Reward: 250xp, 200 SID 12) Rescue the Hostage! Location: Kamond Mine Entrance Contact: Guild Staff Guide: This can be completed as a part of the main storyline, however you must have initiated this quest before undertaking to defeat the Werewolf boss. Once it's defeated, talk to the man that it was guarding. Return to the Merchant Guild in Abazet to collect your reward. Reward: Attack Lv 1 Kamond, HP Lv 1 Kamond x 2 [[Defeat the Werewolf Boss, completing the Southern Forces Anti-Sentinal Unit's first official mission]] 13) An Old Man's Request Location: Abazet Square Contact: Old Man Guide: Talk to the old man in the refugee camp square of Abazet to accept this quest. It will begin once you complete Quest 18. As soon as that quest is completed, head forward in the canyon and head toward the red tick on the map. This is where Hwan is located. You must get to him and take out the soldiers attacking him before he dies. If he is defeated, the quest is failed. Reward: 800xp, Necklace of Life, Belt of Experience 14) Additional Orders Location: Abazet Headquarters Contact: Commander Raud Guide: Defeat three Mighty Lappers in Abazet Field using Argo. Once done, collect the box of bombs from the Nekoneko people at Abazet Port. Reward: 600xp, 200 SID 15) Endless Battle... Location: Abazet Port Contact: Nekoneko Guide: Head out into Abazet Port and defeat six Nekojacks, return for your reward. Reward: 500xp, 500 SID, Hotty Hot x2, Lighty Light x2 16) Nekoneko Pride Location: Abazet Port Contact: Nekoneko Guide: In the previous quest you may have received a key from killing the Nekojacks. Use this key to open the chest on the western side of Abazet Port. Reward: 400xp, 500 SID, Fire Crystal Bomb 17) The Apprentice Tanner Location: Abazet Field Contact: Apprentice Tanner Guide: In an area where there is a large number of Claw Beasts you'll find a human standing around. Talk to him and he'll request you to extract some material from the Claw Beasts. Slay five to satisfy him, and collect his reward. Reward: 600xp, 200 SID, Leather Knuckle [[Head to Oldfox Canyon]] 18) Destroy the Obstacle Location: Oldfox Canyon Contact: Southern Commander Guide: This can only be undertaken if you completed Quest 16. Escort the commander to the barricade, seeing to it that he doesn't get killed. Place the Fire Crystal Bomb in the required spot and watch the damage! Reward: 1200xp, Earring of the Red Sparrow 19) Hwan's Request Location: Oldfox Canyon Contact: Hwan Guide: If you successfully completed Quest 13, Hwan will ask you to deliver a letter to his father in Abazet. Drop this off, the next time you're in town. Reward: 1500xp, Healing Leaf x3 [[Defeat Sion Regral]] 20) Help the Wounded Soldiers Location: Oldfox Canyon Contact: Southern Soldier Guide: This will begin a mini game where you play healer as Zephie. There are a number of soldiers that must be kept alive in the 60 second timeframe. Zephie has the ability to use Minor Cure which costs 1 Kan, and Major Cure that costs 2 Kan. The range of Major Cure is greater than that of Minor Cure which only targets one soldier, however it's not advised to spam it as the soldiers aren't clustered together. If a soldier gets into the red, use Major Cure. If in the yellow, use Minor Cure. Your Kan will replenish over time, slowly so use the reserves wisely. Reward: 1000xp, Squall Fragment, Wind Kan Crystal [[Defeat Astaroth]] 21) Give Me Back My Goods! Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: Avis Merchant Guide: Take a trip to the Northern Forces camp. Defeat the soldiers to retrieve a key and open the chest. Take the collected goods back to the merchant. Reward: 800xp, 200 SID, Cure Flower 22) An Eye for an Eye Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: Avis Merchant Guide: After completing Quest 21, the merchant will as you to harvest four of the purple mushrooms in the marsh. This is similar to Quest 6. Reward: 600xp 23) A Tooth for a Tooth Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: Avis Merchant Guide: After completing Quests 21 & 22, the merchant will give you a Gas Spray Trap which you are required to place before the large tent in the Northern Forces Camp. Return once completed. Reward: 1000xp, 1000 SID, Kan Reward, Recipie: Red Jewel 24) Delivery to Cota Mare Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: Avis Merchant Guide: After completing Quests 21, 22 & 23, the merchant will give you a package to deliver to Nestin at the entrance of Cota Mare. Reward: 500xp, 500 SID. [[Meet Celestine and enter Cota Mare]] 25) Kill the Blaborers Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: Mare Soldier Guide: Find the Mare soldier in the north western section of Navyblue Marsh. He'll ask you to slay six Blaborers. These can be found in the Refuge of Darkness. Defeat them and return for your reward. Reward: 800xp, Hotty Hot x 2, Coldy Cold x 2 26) Hi-yo, Juntsi Location: Cota Mare Contact: Mare Woman Guide: The woman inside the chief's house will request you to find her child. Head to the Nekoneko village in Navyblue Marsh and talk to the Mare boy to tell him to go home. Return to the woman for your reward. Reward: 1000xp 27) We Need Kamond Shards Location: Nekoneko Village (Navyblue Marsh) Contact: Nekoneko Guide: A Nekoneko will ask you to collect eight Kamond Shards from defeating the enemies in the Navyblue Marsh. Complete this and return for your reward. Reward: 800xp, 500 SID, Cherry Blossom 28) Delivery to Abazet Port Location: Nekoneko Village (Navyblue Marsh) Contact: Nekoneko Guide: After completing Quest 27 you will be asked to deliver the package to the Nekoneko Village in Abazet Port. Take the parcel back there for your reward. Reward: 1000xp, 2000 SID, Stamina Seed 29) Navyblue Marsh Messengers Location: Cota Mare Contact: Mare Woman Guide: Talk to the woman at the entrance to Cota Mare. She'll ask you to take out the scouting party of Northern Forces Soldiers. They can be found in the north-east section of Navyblue Marsh. They move around that area, so chase them down and slay them. Return for your reward. Reward: 1000xp, 1000 SID 30) Relay Operational Orders Location: Navyblue Marsh Contact: [[Starts automatically after killing soldiers in Quest 29]] Guide: Return the orders to Kiloty in Cota Mare by the entrance. Reward: 800xp 31) Kill Nurance Location: Cota Mare Contact: Kiloty Guide: Kiloty will ask you to take out the enemy commander who is surveying the area. Like the soldiers from Quest 29, he moves around the north-east section of Navyblue Marsh. Find and defeat him. Return for your reward. Reward: 1200xp, Frostnip Defence [[Rescue the kidnapped Mare people]] 32) Energy Wonder Potion? Location: Cota Mare Contact: Celestine Guide: Celestine will ask you to gather items to complete a potion. Kill Mere enemies until you find a Mere Spore. The Antidote you may already have in your inventory, if not the merchant in Navyblue Marsh sells it. Harvest two of the orange mushrooms using Juto.
