Good game for Guys? - Page 2

I didn't mind the game that much being all girly I just wish it had a better storyline. The only really good thing to come out of this game was the music and Koda Kumi <3

Not massively, or well not for me. I never knew anything about the story before I got it and the fact that when I had completed it I was not satisfied with it meant it was not good on my basis.

To be honest, I wouldn't consider it a good game for guys AT ALL.

If a guy asked me "what would be a good game for me to play?" I certainly wouldn't say FFX-2.
There are hundreds of games I could pick for a guy, before picking FFX-2 ... Including many RPGs suited better for guys, too.

I rather play any RPG over GTA anytime.

yeah i would play ff10-2 over gta gta has no real story i mean wtf shoot up some stores i mean get real ff 1-2 will become more richer for men when they wanna look at hot chicks even if they gothic or w-e i dont really care its so freaking awsome!!

I´m a guy and I liked the game.

I´m a sucker for games with female leads (Silent Hill 3, Resident Evil, Fatal Frame, even Tomb Raider - don´t shoot me!! - and this one didn´t disappoint.

I could never understand guys who like games with male leads. God of War is nice, Prince of Persia is sweet and Devil May Cry is cool. But if I´m gonna have to look at someone on my tv screen for 60+ hours, I´d rather look at a girl than some butch dude sweating, goraning, huffing and puffing all over my living room.

There was a "girly" element to it with the tone, the dresspheres and stuff but all in all I found it quite an enjoyable experience.

Plus I got to play it all over again recently with my nieces (7 and 8 years old) and it´s great to be able to share it with someone.
Too bad they don´t know english, so I have to do all the "dubbing" .

I think I´m lucky that I´m not subjected to "peer pressure", if someone came around here and laughed at me for having a "girly game in my collection, I´d probably beat them in the head with a trout instead of feeling ashamed and disgraced in all my rugged-manly-man-manhood.

I wasn´t too fond of Paine, though.

I liked Lulu much better in the tough-girl-dressed-in-black role in FFX.

But it was very refreshing to see the upbeat attitude and general tone of the game (and characters), after the doom-and-gloom of the previous instalment.

I remember the fans screaming in agona when they first saw Yuna/Leblanc singing:
"- Oh, no, it´s the end of the world as we know it."

I just giggled to myself:
"- Well, considering how the last game ended, I´m just glad she didn´t enter a convent and become a nun or something."
