if any1 could help, could u give me like a mini walkthrough cause i can't seem to go the right way and also can u tell me what way i should go, up the stairs or through that door...anything that will help me get through it plz send it. oh and for some people, the god cheat that u use, u gotta press start and do it, don't do it during game play cause it never worked for me

Anyways, you kind of have to be more specific. The tips i can give you are, conveying the situation. Always look around corners. Never send your team in first unless your low on health, because their aim is so terrible that they will give your position away before they kill anyone.

yes there is god code and u can't die during the level, but what i was saying was the penthouse level where u go solo, what is the best route to go. the cheat for god mode is by pressing start first thing when u start the mission, then press up up down down left right left right b a. when u press b, u should end back in the game itself and then press a, then it will pop up "GOD MODE ACTIVED", then u can go in without ur team and u CAN'T die. u can even throw a grenade by u guy's feet and nothing hurts.

I can't even get out of the doot at the top of the stairs without "failing" the mission...What am I doing wrong? I move slowly...the walkthroughs I have seen aren't much help to get out of the first door...

This mission is only a taste of an even harder stage (the Airport). Without
the heartbeat sensor from the alternate reality (PC's Raven Shield) you'll be
moving around blind. Basically if any terrorists spot Rainbow Six (i.e., you)
the mission is failed. Players will also be alone on these missions, so take
the M249 and M203 for the firepower. Since you cannot kill anyone anyway,
silenced weapons are not necessary. The first order of business is to actually
take a look around and see where you are. In fact, you should try out the door
immediately behind you that leads to the rooftop. This is the exit the
accountant needs to head for (or basically, the whole team) to clear the
stage. Once you are comfortable, open the next two sets of doors quickly and
run up to the T-junction. If you are caught, just restart.

The randomness of the terrorists in the stage are frustrating since you cannot
know where they precisely are, just where they are generally. Alerting them by
gunfire, killing one, or by running full tilt is bad. Instead, walk softly by
only pushing the joystick off-center slightly. Ducking may help, but it also
makes the player move slower than standing. Also, hold action and open the
door slowly using the D-pad; open the door quickly (tapping action) will
result in enemies being alerted.

When you are ready, simply open the door and head forward quietly. Got
discovered? Just restart the mission (the guard from the second floor may have
spotted you past the glass floor). At the T-junction, quietly head right and
move slowly around towards the stairs leading to the second floor. At the top
of the stairs, there may occasionally be a terrorist who will stop there on
his patrol route. At the top of the stairs, head left into the room at the end
of the hall to place the phone bug and get the first checkpoint.

Checkpoint #1 - Tapped the phone

You are safe in the phone room - only a small window will let torrorists spot
you there (if you have both doors closed). Having tapped the phone, the next
thing to do is to see how to get to the computer. Depending on where the
terrorist is and how impatient you are, you may want to go back the way you
came (down the hallway with the ball game blaring below) or around the back
way. Either path leads to the double glass door where an announcement about
the accountant is made; just keep going past the room and head up the stairs.

On the third floor, this is where things can get randomised. Move - very
quickly - left at the T-junction and into the first door on the left. If you
are caught, simply restart and do it again from the checkpoint (the terrorist
inside is sometimes spawned somewhere else on the patrol route). That room is
the computer that nets the checkpoint when hacked, and allows weapons fire to
start again. The faster you can get to the computer and hack it, the faster
this bullshit will end.

Checkpoint #2 - Tapped the computer

The objectives now change. Weapons fire is allowed and the accountant you saw
earlier is in danger of being killed. Begin by heading back the way you came.
Most terrorists will be there, albeit with one or two more terrorists for back-
up. Simply head into the double glass door room and waste everyone (except the
bean counter). Hold the interact button to get him to follow, then trace your
steps back to the start (you should be very familiar with it now with repeated
retries). Zap the terrorists and head up to the roof for an extraction
chopper.

Thanks...I saw that info somewhere else...I guess I just have to be patient when I walk out the door...but I spent at least 3 to 4 hours just trying to get out the first door with no success...such is life I guess...anyways...thanks for the response....

Yeah, I love the Penthouse Level. I find it rather nice to be careful instead of shooting people around the place. Stealth is good sometimes. I find this stage hard enough. I was getting caught before entering the first door. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles.

Just make sure you don't go upstairs to start. Just crouch and move real slow. Deeplove, I also like this level, it took me awhile and I like a good challenge.

Yea this level was kind of difficult depending on how you did it. I first found myself giving my position away, which can be good sometimes to draw eneimes, but doing it stealthily works for me too.

I stuck with stealthily. You just need to know which way to go and when. It takes awhile to perfect but once you get the hang of it, it won't be that hard.

argh crud this levels annoying! i dont know when to go out of the door after i bugged the phone..the right timing and all..

If you read the walkthrough I posted earlier it should help you. I would save it once after you bug the phone so you can restart from there if you get caught. Try creaking the door open and then watching when he walks by. Figure it out from there, I won't ruin the level by telling you everything to do.

<shudder> That was a hateful level. I actually had a nightmare about it. Don't ask.

I'm curious about your nightmare. Exactly why did you have that and what was it like? How could you have nightmares about the best level in the game.

.....i think your walkthrough has some errors...like at the start turning left...you dont you turn right to creep by that guy watching tv..
