Hello all.
I am currently stuck in the last chapter of the game (9).
I have gotten out of the temple, killed the old ones by the bone fire but am unable to open the locked laboratory.
How can it be done please? Could it be I've missed something?
I've tried to open the bolted door with the creature and the character closes it and dosen't go in, I also don't know what to put
inside the feeding hatch in the door.
I've tried the blue plant I had but it just stays there.

I'd appreciate your help...

To open said prison door, place the plant in the feeding bin, then also put in the prison gruel/slop as well... you'll find that near the center room of the prison on the bottom floor. if i remember right, near where you picked up your stolen weapons. the creature will then eat the mixture and pass out. leaving you free to take the hammer
