I'm working out who I'll try and get now before I even start the game. For Spurs I've shortlisted;

Btw I plan on creating some teams from the Bundesliga hence VfB, and I'll just edit the fake teams in the 'Other Teams' section to represent the likes of CSKA, Rubin and more.

On that note anyone know of any cheapish players with the early cross ability? All ive found is downing and Becks.

The 'Early Cross' enables players to whip in brilliant crosses from anywhere inside the opposition's half with more speed, accuracy and curl then players without. It also increases your chance of scoring because of the accuracy.

An early cross is when you hold LB then B to cross rather than just B in line with the penalty box.

Im in the Europa League this season but im not sure why, i came runner-up in the cup but i thought only the winner went in

im not sure if this is right, but the winner of the cup could already be in the champions league, so in which case the runner up goes into europa league, remember millwall in europe when they lost to man utd

An early cross is when you hold LB then B to cross rather than just B in line with the penalty box.

It works really well. Scored a number of goals doing this particularly with Ximilez crossing for Gutierrez or Ordaz.

If Freddy Adu is in this game, I recommend him. (PES6 experience. )

Woo! Got promoted first season. Finished third in the end which I thought was pretty good given I didn't sign anyone. The level 1 scout really is useless. Been trying to sign lots of players (many who are transfer listed and 'open to negotiations' but he couldn't get any of them apart from Mole at the end of the first season (who everyone seems to get and also seems a bit pants!). Promotion has earned me 1m in prize money and a 1m new sponsorship deal though so finances are looking better. I have upped the scout to level 3 along with keeping the fitness trainer at 3 and got most other things at 2.

Managed to sign Dowson from Sunderland (at least I think it was Sunderland) and Whelan in midfield. Got a right winger and a SS on loan (cant remember their names now!). However, I had loads of offers for Gutierrez and Ordaz (almost one every week for Gutierrez!) and both of them got broken hearts and now have purple form so I've sold Gutierrez and will probably do the same with Ordaz. They will be useless with purple arrows.

Played the first match against Fulham, drew 1-1 at home, quite happy with that. Its going to be tough this season though given the players I have. Hopefully I can add a couple more before the transfer window ends and then can sort out some deals for mid-season.

Nuggy - Schwarz scored an important goal for me near the end of last season! I've let him go though, his wages are quite high and hes slow. Shimizu is in my youths, considering promoting him but have plenty of midfielders now. I've promoted Sahafi, just because I need some strikers!

SC_adept - Yes, my athletic trainer on level 3 certainly helped me get promoted, I'm sure of that. My scout is now on level 3 I think, level 1 scout is useless. Is Mole any good and does he improve at all? Seems rubbish but only played one game with him up front. Went for Spearing with my level 1 scout and couldn't get him. Might try now with my level 3 scout.

Good job on the promotion, rekon I might get there too this season. ^^

Mole is certainly getting better he is 23 now with quite respectable stats. Dunno if he will still develop but he is certainly better than ordaz and shows no signs of leveling out yet. Me getting Spearing was down to him being transfer listed I rekon as you go he only gets harder to buy though.

I was wondering when Jamesy was planning on bringing his new account in here. It must be your fifth right?
