i bought links 2003 yesterday, but it keeps crashing when loading course or at menu page, i get blue screen, only way i can get it to run is amazingly to run another game first, then links loads fine!

any ideas as how to cure this problem or is having same problem

im running windows 2000 professional duron 800 processor, 327mb ram and nvidia geforce2 card

I dont know what the blue screen contains textual-wise however if you are using a nVidia-based graphics card, and most importantly, if you are using the Detonator Drivers, turn off the Anti-Aliasing in the graphic options. This will cause Links to crash or the graphics to stuff up severely.
If you can provide any info on the blue screen, that would be helpful.
Other than that, try reinstalling DirectX (8.1) and updating or reinstalling your graphics drivers. Also disable or shutdown any other software that could/would be running while Links 2003 is running that is not necessary.

Well...just spent 90$ on ur links 2003 and dam thing wont do anything but blue screen me...tried reinstalling drivers and turned off the Anti-Aliasing in the graphic options but no go...i do have the detonator drivers and i have got the game workin on some other drivers but mah other games suffer because of that...if someone doesnt help me soon i will be forced not to play links 2003...
