Dark Daxter = WTF? - Page 6

Ok thinking about it you're probably right. I mean continued exposure to Dark Eco must *bleep* you up somehow, right? But it took big pools of it to actually transform him, whereas it would probably kill anyone else...

The last transformation does actually make sense though.

Dark Eco Pool = Permanant Transformation, Dark Eco Stream = Can Transform at Certain Times Transformation

I think.

Besides, aren't Dark Makers twisted Precursors?

I'm kind of ashamed I didn't think of it like that =P. But then again, I guess I didn't see Dark Makers as gigantic, "Wereottsels" as I see it.

The amount of "Dark Eco Mutants" around already blows glass in the face of the Jak canon, so I guess we can chalk it all up to more sophisticated dark eco manipulation technology, and what hit Daxter was not pure dark eco but the waste left over from previous experiments.

Alright... I felt I had to put my two cents in...

In response to Dark Daxter actually belonging in the story, I'm not entirely sure if it fits in, but the events that cause it... (falling in a hole because he wasn't looking where he was going... mistaking a machine for a candy dispenser... and getting angry before transforming) definetly fit Daxter's persona we've seen throughout the previous installments. On a down-note, I'm disapointed with a few of the weapons in this game... Firstly, you can't morph into Dark Jak (who cares if eco is unstable?!), Secondly, you don't get the peacemaker from Jak 3 ( what intelligent hero gets rid of his best weapons...) And you also don't get the ability to do rolling jumps followed by a ground pound, useful for getting a drop on enemies... as for weapons added to the game, none of them catch my eye quite like the Armegeddon... Aptly named, anything unfortunate enough to have even a single missile locked onto it is TOAST. Which is more than I can say for Jak or Daxter's arsenal when outside of their ship. So I'd say this game has it's ups and downs, but I'm definetly still hoping for a sequel...

OMG you all sound pathetic. making all these excuses about dark daxter and TLF. for all we know, TLF is a tribute. and it was just to keep the franchise afloat, but yeah it suks, because it was made by IDIOTS. jak x. hmmm, yeah, rayns part in the story deserves reprisal.TLF has no part in the jak story. dark daxter was a mistake and so was TLF. so shut up... you all make me want to kill myself over this nonsense. GOD...
