	Log in to remove this sponsored message The story is confusing me. I need a story to play a game. I need a reason to kill my targets or else it's no fun. I'm weird like that. I recently got AC 1 and AC 2, and yesterday I got brotherhood. I'm going to play them in order. I beat the first and I am currently playing the second. I'm at the part in... what city... ah well it's the city that you get to from going on the boat with leonardo da vinci. I momentarily forgot the name. Well I just beat the part where you save Rosia or whatever her name is, and I couldn't be more confused on the gameplay and story. I think I over explained all of this, so here's what I'm confused of: 1. Why did Ezio agree to stay with his Uncle Mario? What made him change his mind? 2. What exactly was the conspiracy against his family? Was it just some betrayal to get his family killed, or is it some specific case? Or am I not suppose to know yet? 3. I think I got the abstergo present time thing. If I'm right, abstergo (thats the name) is modern day templars and need the apple to gain control of people? And that the assassin team cant let that happen? 4. All the signs on the buildings that lead to "The thruth" confuse me. The are all messages from subject 16 I know, but do they have some hidden meaning I should know by now? Or do I not know, nor should I? 5. Why is ezio agreeing to all of this in the first place? He was never a killer before. Why did he agree so fast? 6. I swear the timeline is so messed up. I mean it was 1478 at one moment, then ten seconds later its 1480! It's so weird. Right now im at like 1481. Does that mean ezio has been an assassin for 5 years already? I may remember more questions later but for now im done.

	@Cjk90 - I only have vague memories of all this, but I'll try to explain as best as I can remember. 1 - Not really sure. Probably so he could have a convenient base, place for income, and place to gather information and safely store codex pages, plus the whole Assassin hideaway thing. 2 - I think it was political and related to uncovering Templar secrets, but I can't remember for sure. The family was in the way (uncovered a dastardly plot), so killing them is a convenient way to eliminate the trouble they posed. 3 - Yep. 4 - Well, I think the symbols (glyphs) aren't terribly important. They might have some obscure significance though. Like mysterious symbols found throughout history and no-one is sure of their meaning? I haven't a clue if there is any real significance to the glyphs themselves. 5 - Ummmm, they betrayed and murdered members of his family and traumatized his mother (and to a lesser degree, his sister)? On top of that, set his family up to be viewed as traitors. Yeah, that would make anyone feel a bit violent. It's also set well into the past (so modern views of right and wrong aren't the same). 6 - Yeah. You jump past irrelevant points of time to get to the meat and potatoes parts. One could argue that perhaps the DNA ignored less relevant events in his life, or the people checking out his DNA know how to bypass the irrelevant points of his life. ------------------- α Ω Blood Dragon ~\| Rift \|~ Starbound

	You just have to replay the game again ... took me for a loop first time since hard to follow flow of story sometimes. The only one I can answer is why he agreed to it is since he's father and two brothers were hanged for treason which isn't the case so basically it's for revenge.

	I'm currently reading the book 'Assassin's Creed Renaissance' by Oliver Bowden, and it does help you to understand what's actually happening. You should buy it, it's really good, but don't get it if you only play Assassin's Creed for the killing and that. But judging by your questions, the book would suit you. :3
