I love you Climax. <3 It seems that their team is actually a bunch of true SH fanboys, rather than a team who thinks they know fans and attempt to appeal to them by sticking in a monster for absolutely no reason and copying the style of the movie which didn't really stick to the game in the first place. *facepalm* quote Climax
These are real gameplay advances, not cheap control gimmicks. It's not a port. The rating is still pending, but rest assured it will be scary. At no point did we come to a crossroads and decide "well let's just do it this way because it's on Wii." It will twist your mind and creep you out just like any other good Silent Hill game would, and all the choices we made were to serve good gameplay or a compelling story - never a misguided notion of "Wii is for young'ns." Shi- You have no idea how glad I am to hear this. xD

I disagree with this. you should have pyramid head but not the same knife weilding one. In the videos where akira and other team silent members talked about the sh2 and 3 pyramid head is basically the being watching over, tormenting and judging.
So they can have pyramid head just not the exact same one then the fiends background story is moot. Supposedly pyramid head is a dark angel that torments and cast judgement on souls.

Pyramid Head is a monster that is exclusive to James in SH2. He had no reason to be in Homecoming (or any other SH game), other than fanservice. Sure, Pyramid Head is based off Silent Hill's executioners so technically it wouldn't be unreasonable if a PH appeared in Shattered Memories (or any other SH game). But it would be a total cop-out. He has no reason to be in this game, since he has no relevance to Harry or Alessa's story. I dunno what monsters will be showing up in Shattered Memories - whether they'll recreate the originals or add a bunch of newbies. But the monsters in the original SH1 fit the plot nicely, so there's probably no need to create any more. Mod Edit: Jun 25, 09 by Gothic Girl

Actually pyramid head was in 3 but he never attacked you just watched you to make sure God was born. He was in a different form pyramid head is different for every person their personal demon or tormenter taking different shape, or at least that was what I believe akira said. It's really up to us what his purpose is.
They destroyed him though when they used him in the movie and sh5 they dont know what fans want since they are just fans with lots of money, and they wasted it.

Pyramid Head has been in 4 SH's. Origins as Butcher, 2 as PH, 3 as Valtiel, 5 as Bogeyman.
It's so TERRIBLY unoriginal. They use the same character model for all of these stalk the hero characters.
I wish they'd just make a NEW character that has no resemblance to PH whatsoever for a Silent Hill. Or make some kind of Silent hill that follows up SH2 and PH comes back and punishes someone related to James or something like that. A good reason to put PH in the game.
Like I said, I just wish they'd make a new monster that reflects the characters guilt or frame of mind that stalks them.

Pyramid Head from SH2 was based off a painting that James saw while visiting Silent Hill that showed the town's past executioners, who wore hoods and robes to make themselves look similar to Valtiel. So that's why the two monsters were so similar in appearances. But they are two completely different creatures. But imo, "Pyramid Head" is the guy we see in SH2. He's the guy who is exclusive to James. All other creatures who look similar have different names (e.g. Valtiel, the Butcher, etc). I got the impression that Climax were talking about Pyramid Head specifically. While they might create a brand new a "personal demon" for Harry or Alessa in Shattered Memories, it won't be in the form of a man with a Pyramid Head. That creature is exclusive to James. (and should remain exclusive to James, imo).

As it should be I'm tired of seeing duplicates of pyramid head, put a pyramid head like demon that does his job should be there just not pyramid head something else.

Why should I treat you with respect when all you are doing is bashing a game you havnt even played. You only come here to complain about the game. If you dont care about the game than why bother other members with your complaints. Nobody wants to here your complaints. Im generally a bloody nice guy, even ask Gothic Girl, but I only go off like this when somebody accuses a game of being shit when they havnt even played it.

He isn't supposed to be anyway, the only sort of "appearance" he made in the Original was the painting in Midwich Elementary. Pyramid Head was a punishment for James sexual desires. I just pray to God, that Alex didn't feel that way about his brother. *shudders*

Man, if pyramid head was in this game with a ginat butchers knife and COULD RUN.. That would be so scary knowing that there's a powerful enemy following your EVERY step ... to defeat him you must out run him ... Man that would be so coooool
