It is not a remake of the original Silent Hill. Instead, it's a complete make-over. The gameplay has been reworked from the ground-up, with 50% of the game being action (though Konami didn't go into any details on the fleeing aspect), which may disappoint or delight long-time fans, depending on your perspective. And the Wii's interactive features will also play heavily in the game. Go to the source for more info on the demo. Also, a few characters from the original seem to have gone through a make-over. Policewoman Cybil Bennett now has a new hairdo, a set of stylish sunglasses and a fair bit of cleavage this time around. 	It does feel like a "new" Silent Hill game but it does have certain things that remind me of SH1. (Smog being replaced with a Ice storm WTF) It should be a good game when released this August. ------------------- Come and have fun in the Survival Horror Social forum. You wont regret it.

	I have always wanted to play Silent Hill, and after watching the Silent Hill movie I'm even more excited for this now that I know somewhat of the story. And also, since evidently there's going to be no Fatal Frame 4 for the US Wii this better be good. ------------------- Out Of Step With The World

	Well now I'm waiting for a Pyramid Head cameo with the nurses. Just to appease the sexually obcessive fans of that strange character. Thanks for the info, I suppose the new look fits in with today's population at least XD

	Which is a good thing. If I had to choose between no combat and Homecoming-esque combat, I'd choose no combat. People complained about the old Silent Hill games' crippling combat, other people complained when the combat was finally updated in SH4, now people are complaining that there's no combat at all. 	They went too far from the combat stuff. You should be able to fight but you should be given the choice to run. Silent hill 1 is perfect when the alternate world happens most of the time you will be running because the monsters are more visious and numerous so I typically ran but occassionally turned around to shoot a monster that wouldn't go away.

	As I said in the oter thread... I must admit, I'm a little disappointed that there is no combat AT ALL in the game. I mean, if I was being attacked and I see something that can be used as a weapon, I'm gonna give it a go. So a man like Harry should at least try to use something as a weapon at some point in the game. Maybe he can try to bash one of the monsters at the start of the game, only to realize it's undefeatable. Sort of like the ghosts in SH4? This is Silent Hill after all. You can only kill things if the town wants you to. Then there'd at least be a reason for Harry to never try and take on the enemies. If Harry genuinely never thinks to defend himself while in Silent Hill, then he's a moron. ------------------- \| GACKT \|

	He is suppose to be a man who is looking to save his only daughter so for him to just run scared all the time too me just sais this guy isn't harry at all, just some girlish dude pretending to have a daughter. the glasses look dorky and him carrying digital stuff just looks lame they did that with the movie which was stupid looking. Having no combat too me actually makes it less creepy cuz then you know all your gonna be doing is running and I would think that limits your options on exploring. I usually kill the demons and see all the clues that hint at whats going on in your world.

	I'm giving my opinion as it is my right so how about you go away. This game is not a very good game none of climaxes games did any good either so to think this will is stupid. I'm tired of shitty silent hill games that aren't true silent hill quality. Guess I have higher standards as only the original team could make them so I am in my right to complain so bleep off.
