	Has anyone mentioned any co-op in this game, aside from the multiplayer modes? I figured, in this day and age, there would at least be some kind of narrative-based cooperative gameplay, but maybe not. I'm just finishing up the awesome Portal 2 with my roommate after we plowed our way through Gears 3 a couple weeks ago, and if there were a significant split-screen mode in this game (which I haven't seen anything about) I would purchase this game in a hot minute (pun intended).

	There's not any narrative co-op, but the game is quite excellent if you don't mind a single player experience. Max is a deeper darker character than ever, and this game has some of the most intense firefights of any shooter I've played. If you played and enjoyed the first two games, this one definitely won't disappoint. If you didn't play the first two then I guess the only thing to warn you about is this game is heavy on the plot. There's plenty of action, but there's also a LOT of cutscenes and some of them are pretty long. Doesn't bug me at all, but I guess some people might be put off by that. ------------------- Incerto

	I'm a huge Max Payne fan and I couldn't wait for this game to come out -now I'm an hour in (story mode) and so far it feels more like watching a movie than playing a game. There are long dizzying cut scenes that leave you placed right where you need to be for a quick shoot out then your back watching a cut scene again which leads you into the next shoot out and so on.....no thinking required. 	While a little creative, I do agree that the presentation of the cut-scenes does get a little irritating after a while. I also don't like how slow Max is when it comes to evading grenades. Other than, I am almost done with the campaign mode and so far I think its been great. The story is actually not bad at all (I expected it to be some generic story), but the game play is where its at. Especially the multiplayer. I haven't played much MP but I'll definitely do more after I'm done with story mode. I like some of the stuff Max says whenever he comes across some pills. lol Edit: May 17, 12 1:37pm
