I am at the part where the parrots are supposed to help me find the bronze hat...But they won't help. I have given one the grog and the other the coffee so I can tell which one is telling the truth. I have talked to LeFeet about the birds and everything else. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? Please help me!

If your still stuck you might want to try getting something to get their attention, maybe something that sounds like them?

to get the birds to help you you need to go to the school after you get the dunce cap you keep using the firedrill to make the teacher run out of the classroom and then you sneak in the classroom and there is a box full of stuff you need the whistle then go to the boulders on the beach and use the whistle and the parrots will come if you have already talked to the tourist by the tiny lafeet statue and talked to the pirate that has the parrots on his shoulders then you can ask the truth telling parrot where is the bronze hat keep talking to the parrot till he says nowhere then use the puppets on the boulder and a cannon will be shot at you and you will get the bronze hat

okay, i haded the same problem, the only questions that was going on screen when talking to the parrots was the ones you ask to identify the truth telling parrot. i go crazy and even tried to reinstall the game, but then come to figured how to do it... you must talk to the tourist by the statue about tinyLafeet, then talk with his son about tiny WHEN the parrots ARE on jumouxLafeet shoulders, and he will tell you that he stole the hat and then you can ask the parrrots which rock is da real one...

i have found out which boulder it it under but i can not get guybrush to use the puppets so the guy in the boat shoots at the rock. the parrots are still there. What am I doing wrong?
