re: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band DLC Press Release
Can't wait! A Day in the Life (and possibly She's Leaving Home) seem like they could have some incredible dreamscapes. Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite! seems like it'll be loads of fun, can't wait to sing Fixing a Hole, Lovely Rita, She's Leaving Home, and When I'm Sixty-Four, the Reprise will be so fun to drum, A Day in the Life is just awesome all around, and we have the rest of the songs already. Besides Within You Without You, I'm really unexcited for that one.

If you don't mind getting a taste for some of the dreamscapes, they put this video up on the website. You can see some of the dreamscapes and all of the songs from the album (including those on disc except for Sgt. Pepper's- replaced by Reprise).
From what I saw already:
Spoiler: Dreamscapes
Fixing A Hole - I like it. It uses the Come Together "rainbow" but far more colorful and it moves a lot faster. She's Leaving Home- You barely see anything except for the clouds from The End and other Abbey Road songs. I kind of hate that background but there was a picture floating around of John/Paul walking around a city which I instantly thought of this song for and if that does indeed go with this I'll forgive the clouds. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!- I'm really disappointed by this one, it reuses the Sgt. Pepper/Reprise stage but in the afternoon/sunset. Hopefully there's something else to it, especially during the carousel breaks. Within You Without You- Looks just like the LOVE version on game, one of my favorite dreamscapes (and finally one of my favorite songs makes it into the game). When I'm Sixty-Four- Uses that stage that they use for She Came In Through the Bathroom Window and Getting Better. I really didn't like that effect for She Came In Through the Bathroom Window, but this one makes more sense for this song because of its history. Lovely Rita- You don't get to see any of the dreamscape. A Day In The Life- Maybe the best thing ever. It uses the clouds, it uses a (what looks to me like a new) effect where its dark and there are white dots floating around (Not like Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows), and it keeps going back and forth between shots with the background and the clothes the Beatles are wearing constantly changing and using effects from Helter Skelter, Hey Bulldog, Come Together (You've got to be good looking), and then there is what is to me the perfect visual representation of that orchestration leading up to the final chord. Very excited about this.
re: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band DLC Press Release
I just played through the album on guitar (minus the Reprise and Within You/Without You) and it was incredible. I don't know how to describe A Day in the Life.
Actually, I do. My jaw dropped. Literally. I don't think I've ever done that before, except maybe once playing this game for the first time. It was just. Wow. I am blown away.
EDIT: Yes, A Day in the Life is my favorite dreamscape ever. I could not be more impressed. The instrument charting on guitar, I thought, was very unique and fun. Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite! had a pretty cool solo section, for example. But wow. I just am at a loss of words. I thought Abbey Road was amazing and this blew Abbey Road out of the water.
re: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band DLC Press Release
Forget everything I've already said about the album. All the dreamscapes are amazing. Every song is fun to play. I played through all the stuff on guitar, and I played drums on the Reprise and Within You Without You on drums, as well.
I downloaded the album at like 6 AM and played through all the new stuff before school.
Spoiler: My Thoughts
Fixing A Hole- This is my least favourite song from Sgt. Pepper's and the first song I played this morning, and I had the song stuck in my head all day. I love the dreamscape, basic but very effective and goes with the song perfectly. Not anything spectacular chart wise (I think I 100%'d it? if not, 99%) but I have a new appreciation for the song for sure. She's Leaving Home- Dreamscape is great and really fits the song. This song is amazingly fun to play on guitar, and even then I consider it to be one of the least interesting to play from the new set (That's how good the following songs are). The first rhythm is kind of weird but you get settled into it. Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite!- Anything I said about disappointment for this dreamscape is basically null, the carousel part is perfect. This song gave me the first surprise of the DLC because they charted the carousel part (And in different ways both times), which actually makes the song "difficult" (Like All You Need Is Love but much, much more difficult). This song is ridiculously fun. Within You Without You- Surprises all around. Guitar, Bass, and Drums are charted as being one notch off of red. Guitar is so much fun, you play little hammer-on trills throughout the entire song and you don't really hold long notes like in the LOVE remix already on disc. Seriously one of my favourite songs to play on guitar now, along with Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! and a A Day In The Life. Also, the drum part is so much fun I can't even describe it. I thought I was going to be sold to playing drums more often by the Reprise, but its actually this song. (Also, solo George and the dreamscape is great, better than LOVE version.) When I'm Sixty-Four- They chart clarinet to guitar, as I thought they would. It's kind of fun, but I don't really like the songs with chord jumps from like R/B to B/O right after each other. I love singing this song, though (Haven't done it yet). Lovely Rita- Not much to say about this one on guitar, I guess I didn't find it particularly memorable. I liked the dreamscape. First time through on Vocals (I love singing this song) I got place 15, ahahaha. Reprise- Nothing really to say. The drum chart isn't anything you wouldn't imagine but the drum part is pretty straightforward to begin with. The thing about drums on this song is that they're great not for the rhythm but for the sound, and it makes you feel awesome to think that you're "playing" that sound quality. The fills are actually really great, too. A Day In The Life- It's all of your wildest dreams come true in dreamscape and guitar part. All I'm going to say is that they chart the orchestral explosion and the final chord perfectly. It's the best dreamscape in the entire game. The dreamscape is so good that when I watch it during the orchestral parts I actually feel a building tension in my throat.
The one and only disappointment: No sign of the Inner Groove. Minor point, but still.
I'd always thought that the songs on the game were great fun for me to sing and I liked playing bass on most of them, but there just weren't that many guitar parts that I thought were really entertaining for me, so I either did Vocals or Voxtar. I can safely say that there are now around 3-4 new songs that are ridiculously fun on guitar and that I don't need to feel that way any more.
re: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band DLC Press Release
Here's my thoughts, which will be in spoiler tags for some reason...
Spoiler: Sgt. Pepper thoughts
I always imagine Fixing a Hole to be a lot darker for some reason, but I also used to think it was about John's Jesus controversy. So yeah. And Paul's suit reminds me of lemons, which is just stupid.
She's Leaving Home cool too. I don't think I'll ever be able to get past the part with all the crazy hammer ons and pulls offs on guitar. You know the part I mean.
I don't have any problems with the reused gazebo for Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!. Although, there's a glitch on the Wii version where the Beatles disappear during the "carousel" part when your playing with more than one person sometimes. The same problem happens with the chorus of Maxwell's Silver Hammer. But It's fine most of the time. It's a little darker than the other gazebo dreamscapes though for some reason.
Within You Without You is probably the smoothest looking dreamscape on the Wii. It gets a little repetitive though, but the bass is fun. Haven't tried drums yet.
When I'm 64 is just okay. I probably won't play the song much though.
Paul winks at me in Lovely Rita. Enough said.
The effect with all the colours during the screeching guitar during "Reprise" took me by surprise. The ending without the opening guitar chords to A Day In The Life just seems empty though. I suppose it's just how I'm used to listening to it.
And of course, A Day In The Life is amazing. There's obviously a lot of inspiration from the crappy old promotional video, like the flying bird. I also love how the alarm clock is played on drums.
I like the darker effect on Mr. Kite! I actually wish it would have been even a little darker. I think dusk when I hear that song.
I normally envision the album during staring the day with Sgt. Pepper and A Little Help From My Friends, the sun setting during Being For the Benifit of Mr. Kite and Within You Without You, and then A Day In the Life taking place at night. Only problem with that is, Good Morning Good Moring would make no sense... but it doesn't make such sense in the first place anyway. I was a little disappointed with how "Reprise" is during the day on the game.
