Best place to level up your characters???

Ah yes the single most asked question on this game other than 'do I really have to use the %&#* slot machine?'.

Well hate to break it to you but after crunching the numbers there are two basic ways that take the same amount of time. First you need the ability 'Superstar' which will double your points. Unfortunatly it eats up both your slots so you need to play on easy. hard and normal dont actually net you much as far as more points I have found, the extra time it takes to get though is only equiled by the additional points.

After that you just have to decide which of the two you want. Spam 1-0 through 1-4 or spam 6-4. It takes about the same amount of time.

If you take the 6-4 path you'll level up after each play though until you reach the low 80's. 98 to 99 is sheer murder though, hours of teeth pulling.

Points I increases the number of career points you get by 25% in campagin mode, and 50% in multiplayer mode. This is the only one that takes a single slot, all other point increasing skills take both slots.

Points II increases the number of career points you get by 50% in campagin mode, and 75% in multiplayer mode.

Self inflected injury (the one you mentioned Mr Grey)increases the number of career points you get by 75% in campagin mode, and 100% in multiplayer mode. It has the nasty side effect of doubling all damage you take as well however.

Superstar (my personal favorite) increases the number of career points you get by 100% in campagin mode, and 200% in multiplayer mode. It carries the side effect of making all enemies attack you and ignore your allies in campagin mode (which is sort of what you want anyways) and disabling your radar in multiplayer mode.

Like I said, I just use Superstar and spam 6-4 for points, it works but gets a bit boring after awhile. Playing through the entire campagn mode with one character that has Superstar equiped will get you from lvl 1 to lvl 45, playing through a second time rases you from lvl 45 to around 70. After that it gets tough, once you hit lvl 80 an entire episode will only net you one, maybe two level ups.

No problem, I spent a lot of time trying to come up with the easiest way to level up...still havent exactly found one that i would call easy though. It took me a week to get one character from lvl 40 to lvl 99 using Superstar...yeah, it blows lol.

You have to get two items at 100% for the 10K slot machine I think. I have 100% of the abilities but everything else is at 50% to 70%, and I'm trying to keep it that way, everything level up evenly so I dont have to pay 10K a pull, that would mean doing two stages just for one shot...

I have actually found that If you go into the training center, and go to the AI player match, it will give you a multiplayer arena match in the Cube, Fortress, and Friction. Go into the 3rd arena, run up to the data post on top (And activate it), get the rifle in front of it, and enjoy some good sniping. I've seemed to get only 5k career points off this, but for some reason, if I put superstar on, I have seen that it doesn't give 5k, it really gives about 20k. In one hour of playing this I got my Fight Junkies from level 30 to 70, it's worth a shot.

Once you get T-Eng II you're pretty much set to use energy only weapons. In particular the energy gun, energy sniper rifle, and the plasma cannon. Those make the last mission incredibly easy, and all 3 weapons appear there. Easy point farming.
