As to what the "special treatment" will be for the VIP members in the auction house and storefront - your guess is as good as ours. There's been no official news about that as far as I'm aware.

If anything, I hope the auction house is a little different from the one on Forza 2. If a car started at a 5,000CR starting price, it took literally hundreds of bids to get it up to any sort of decent value. I hope it's a little more flexible than the Forza 2 auction house. The other thing that would be nice is the ability to zoom in on the paintjobs of the cars you're looking at.

Auction house is still going to be working along the same lines as Forz 2.
the storefronts will also allow you to sell set tunes / vinyles or even full graphics without having top purchase the car for them to fit on.

The VIP membership is, from what i gather , a few things :
You get "VIP" next to your name on the Forza Forum,
On occasional Turn 10 will send out cars/Vinyls / Tunes to ONLY VIP members,
If you are VIP then your store front will be higher on the viewing list then if you were a standard member.
