Yes,they are pretty fun.And I also like the level named tanked up trouble.

The mine cart level is evil, i spent 30 mins on it. I started the level with 30 lives and finished with 11! My favorite lvl is the millstone one, it rocks..

The mine cart level is cool. It's hard sometimes, but jumping over the crocs is fun.

I love the Mine Cart level! I especially like the last boss battle as well, me and my friends always had so much fun playing and taking turns! XD.

I recently fired this one up again, and damned if I didn't find myself dying far too much in Mine Cart Carnage. I'll go so far to say that it is in fact the toughest level in the game, but after getting back into the swing of things, I found it to be a really immersive stage, due to the numerous reflexes required by the player. It speaks volumes about the work they were actually putting into long-since past games, and DK Country reflects that not only in difficulty, but with a master score, and for its time, rich backgrounds and landscapes. Of course this is all old news, the game is widely considered to be a classic, even when ported to a hand-held.

I'll have to digress there and name off my favorite level: Mine Cart Carnage! Dupe your friends into playing it if they're of the opinion that early games were in fact, simplistic and easy.

XD. That is so true, the amount of jumps you have to perform and all on-time truly were very diffucult back in the day, I recently tried playing it as well, maybe a couple of months ago and it still was hard ^^;

Mine Cart level was fun but, although I can't remember it exactly due to not playing this game in years, this one level where you go underwater? was probably one of the better ones as well.
