Bringing down choppers with grenade and rocket launchers

Always account for movement. Aim where you predict the chopper will be when you fire the shot. Trying this out in real life helps a lot more with smaller things.

Also, make sure you have a god escape plan because more often than most, once you hit them they'll want to take you down!

Never managed to destroy a helo with a noob tuber but plenty of times with rocket launchers! Whichever launcher you choose just use the cross hairs effectively by following the helo (track the cockpit as its the front and largest part) and then giving it some lead i.e move the sight in front of it, this takes practice as you have to allow for speed and movement but using the crosshairs properly will give you more hits than just pointing and firing, guaranteed

.50 cal bullet to the pilot's face seems to drop em pretty good as well.....

I'm sure we've all destroyed a chopper with a tank/other explosive device, but I'm not that good with that so I leave it to other people. If you've ever destroyed a chopper with a mortar strike, I want to shake your hand though.

I've taken out a helicopter with a M95 once. It was being attacked with AA fire and some other machine gun fire, and I randomly decided to shoot at it and the whole thing blew up and I got the points for it .

It was a hell of a lucky hit though.

I've flown through a mortar strike in a heli and only taken light damage a few times. Somehow they dont do much damage...

People who can take out a fast moving heli with a tank shell have some skill. Its surprising how often people can pull off that shot from a distance when I'm flying around randomly.

Best way to take out any helicopter is with the VADs. It has a built-in tractor beam, that activates when your bullets hit the helicopter that prevent it from moving anywhere except either a perfectly straight line or down.

You could always just C4 an enemies helo and wait for an enemy squad to go in it... that's always fun. Then you have the right to Tbag like crazy when they're watching the "kill cam" thing.

Why would you destroy their helicopter when you could steal it for your team? Nothing's more humiliating then getting killed with your own helicopter.

Except firing rockets into walls 3 feet from your face in front of your allies, or, jumping out helocopters and not opening the chute in time, or taking a full vehicle through a mine field or just standing still wiating for the sniper to 1SK you, or ..... It's all happened to me enough times, lol
