Pre-Order + Limited Edition Items + Dr. Pepper Items

Old news is old, but I didn't see a thread about it and just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of what is available. It's essentially nothing exclusive, just early access to weapons to gain the advantage when you first start playing multiplayer.

GameStop pre-order item:


AKS-74

Also, as of now (and apparently they're saying this won't be forever, which is probably a marketing scheme but hey), the limited edition is the same price as the regular edition and comes with the following perks:

* 4 x Vehicle Warfare Unlocks
o Improved Vehicle Armor – An Up-Armor package mounted on all vehicle types decreases the effect of both explosive and penetrating warheads, significantly improving vehicle survivability.
o Vehicle Alternate Fire - Additional weapon packages mounted for the driver of all armored vehicles, greatly expands the range of targets the vehicle can successfully engage and destroy.
o Vehicle Motion Sensor – Upgraded Sensor to locate enemy units in direct proximity to the vehicle.
o Tracer Dart Pistol – Launched by compressed air, this magnetic dart attaches to any vehicle surface, allows friendly shoulder launched rockets to lock on to and track moving targets even beyond line of sight.
* 2 x Classic Battlefield 1943 Weapons

All can be unlocked in the game through regular play, you just get them from the start with the limited edition. I love Bad Company, so I was going to pre-order the game regardless. Just spreading the word in case anyone was debating pre-ordering the game anyway. It'd be cool if the one time I actually pre-ordered a game I got something exclusive, but early access isn't terrible I guess.

"In Battlefield: Bad Company 2 fourkit upgrades allow you to become a unique Special Activities soldier, with new camouflage and a modified weapon. Kit upgrades also contain new awards and an additional achievement. "

People have been using the same codes over and over, just changing their emails. So you should be able to unlock these. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll update once I do. These very well may be exclusive items and not items unlocked through regular progression.

Just to let everyone know: the generic Dr. Pepper codes only work for Mass Effect 2 now. If you want the special outfits + camo guns, then you have to buy your own Dr. Pepper.

Ok, I'm kind of lost...I just got the limited edition version. I have my VIP code to get any DLC that comes out in the future, but what do I do to unlock the 5 or 6 or however many "weapons" or "perks" that you can obtain by having the limited edition version? Was I supposed to get a code at the store?

I was expecting to have to enter a code, but mine were there when I put the disc in. There must be a special edition-specific disc.
