He then went on to set a record for goals to games at Real Madrid, and is still getting better. I know that a wonderkid's peak value is reached at around 23 years of age, but his peak ability will be at around 28 for a striker and closer to 30 for a defender.

IRL Torres, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, RVN, etc all peaked well before 30. And btw, the discussion was about peak in terms of growth. Like Muller reaching his at the top of his game at aged 23. No player unless they were injured are going to grow significantly at age 25 and above unless its the start of the game or if the player had lost some of his ability due to injury or not playing. -------------------

	Actually I have noticed, and I suspect that some of you have too, that player improvement curves have changed in a big way this year. Player improvement is occurring a good deal later than it used to thanks to the fact that it is more difficult to increase CA on this year's version...buying an 18 year old wonderkid and having him maxed out by 22 just is much more difficult to do this year which is as it should be, really.

Tbf, most if not all of those players started from a very early age and therefore way past their peak before 30. Sort of what happened to Michael Owen and soon to be Sterling at this rate. Fergie as much as I don't like him, does this quite well, where he plays his young players with caution giving them a small amount of games then gradually increasing them. e.g. Scholes, Beckham, Giggs, Cleverly and Welbeck to the point they can/could easily play 30-40 games a season at their peak which was around 26-28 if that makes sense? I know I didn't word that well but you get the point. Back on topic, my DoF put in a bid for him, however I didn't really think he was worth the fee. For what he does he seems like a top player in his position however some of his mental stats let him down big time to which is why I withdrew the bid. If anyone has gone any SS of him a few years down the line, interested to see how he's done over the years, looks a real good player irl for Napoli.
