Lucky Star is too girlish isn't it, watching episode 1 right now quote They are all animes, although School Rumble! has a manga to go along with it (the others may already or should in the future as well). Each is a school based, slice of life series heavy in comedy. Both School Rumble and Seto no Hanayome have definite romances involved as well, while Haruhi and Lucky Star are a bit less involved on the romantic part. (However, Haruhi does have a little bit of romance...sorta). For some reason i can't even watch anymore animes except Naruto or Bleach I just need to watch an anime that really catches my inetersts This message was edited by naruto ball z on Jun 23 2007. 	Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu is also extremely amusing and easy to get into. I didn't particularly like Lucky Star or Haruhi myself, nor did I watch School Rumble! but thumbs up to Seto no Hanayome. It manages to incorporate randomness without deterring from a plot or anything like that. It's all very seamless yet noticeable making it all the funnier. ------------------- I C'Z U

	For Empress Dowager Lu Anime Title: Magic Knight Rayearth Genre: Fantasy Age Rating: 13+ Series/Movie/OAV: Series: 2 seasons cover episodes 1-49. There is also a 3 episode OVA called, Rayearth. Short Summary: quote Back of Disc 1 Magic Knight Rayearth tells the tale of three junior high school girls who hear a voice asking them to save a world called Cephiro. The voice belongs to Princess Emeraude, the Pillar whose will maintains the peace of this magical world where belief is power. But the peace in Cephiro is now threatened as Princess Emeraude is imprisoned and monsters begin to invade the land. With her last bit of strength, the princess summons forth the three girls destined to become the Magic Knights in hopes of saving her world. High Points: If you are a fan of CLAMP, then this series has all the earmarks of their best stuff, wonderful characters, fantastic settings, Mokono... It really plays out like a good fantasy RPG, the girls progress and get better equipment and spells, boss fights.... Low Points: The series can get a little campy at times, and what starts off as a light-hearted romp gets decidedly darker in the second season. The OVAs are almost a re-write, changing up the history and feel of the characters in a way that can be a little off-putting. Who might like this anime?: Fans of CLAMP, fantasy RPG fans, folks that enjoy whimsy, adventure, comedy, romance all in fantastic settings. Soon to be a live action J-Drama Short Summary: quote TheRightStuf Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki is transferring to a high school in Japan... but not just any high school! Who might like this anime?: If you like silly romances with a dash of gender confusion thrown in, you'll like Hana Kimi. There is something for everyone. The anime itself isn't bad. Whoever recommended Darker Than Black to me was right, good anime.. 	Is there any action animes like DBZ, Bleach, Naruto, Yu yu hakusho? Action shows with techniques and some sort of higher power or energy? (chakra, spirit energy, reiatsu, life force) Anything like that? please reccomend.

	Alright, I'm not sure how this is going to go, but I was hoping to find an Anime similar to Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. I can't really explain it other than it's really satirical and makes fun of standard Japanese Anime. Anyone know of anything similar to that?

	I'm looking for a nice manga series to read. Does anyone have any recommendations? I like deep and intellectual plots, good scripts and deep characters. I wouldn't like the series to be too long, nor extremely short. It could be mostly any genre: action, sci-fi, slice-of-life, school setting, romance, mystery, comedy. Anything really.
