Koi Kaze

Jeez, NO posts? That....sucks -_- (It also hasn't been added to the thread index -_-)

Anyhow, I watched the second, and third DVD ^_^ So permit me to make a review about it ^_^;;

My thoughts:

Story/Plot:

Well, I thought the story itself was pretty decent, considering its only 13 episodes...granted, its nothing especially unique exactly, but its not often that you see anime like this Licensed in North America I think...Essentially, its about Koushiro dealing with his 'dirty thoughts', as well as Nanoka's thoughts about him...And the eventual result...The ending...well, its kinda open ended, you don't see the final resolution exactly, sure their feelings are resolved, but what about the other problems that could have been dealt with? Well, I'm not going to spoil it further ^_^;;

Opening/Ending/Bonus

I like the opening theme, the ending theme is alright, but not as good as the opening, there is a bonus thing at the end, the next episode preview, but its funny because you see Chidori dispensing 'justice' upon certain characters based on what happened in the episode...

Music

Opening - I think the music for the opening is pretty good, as far as opening themes go ^_^ It fits the animation and story quite well ^_^

Ending - Meh, I don't especially care for it, but thats just my opinion..

Well, throughout the story you can find some real nice music playing in the background (as well as in the main menu of the DVD)... I think the music fits the story well enough, and its nice to listen to ^_^ I don't believe there is a single 'bad' track in the show ^_^

Art

As I've mentioned previously, the art is very nice (espeically in the opening sequence) ^_^ And certainly nothing yo ucan complain about I think....Though you sometimes STILL see that white mouth thing (as if they are talking through their teeth -_-) The white is usually used when black or dark colours would have been much better...

I think the character designs are pretty good, I like how Nanoka and Chidori look ^_^ Koushiro's design fits his character, as does the teenager obsessed co-worker ^_^;;

Overall

This is something I recommend people pick up, if they are willing to accept the Brother x Sister taboo topic ^_^;; Its also short, which is good in terms of saving money, but it limits the amout of story that could be told -_-

Anyhow, I thought exceptions were made for stuff like this anyway?? Guess not ^_^;;

Still though, I don't expect many people to post on this topic, due to the 'taboo' nature of the shows content ^_^;;

Incest does tend to be a taboo subject, even in the anime world.

And like I said tallteen, no prob this time, just try to not make it a habit, you know? ^___^

So I finished watching this anime. I thought it was a really cute anime. I don't mind the incest and huge age difference. It doesn't disgust me but I was so shocked that..



I really don't like the ending, it seemed too open. Has anyone read the manga? I heard there is major differences. The opening song is so sweet.
