I have good news, bad news.

Good News: I added in all the anime links I think I had previously missed (Still need to up-date manga and popular threads though).

Bad News: Apparently I broke the Index while doing it and now everything is decidedly skewed. Sent a note about it to Ren of Heavens, hopefully he can figure out what is going on.

mouschi_chan: Sounds a bit like a "You've watched too much anime when..." kind of thread. Actually, I'm kind of surprised that no one has tried that here. As long as folks put a little thought into it and not looking for a thread to toss around one-liners in, then go for it.

Should we have another Header/Footer Contest since Valentines Day is over and maybe make it Spring related.

Awesome. I actually plan on participating this time.

Yeah that should give people who haven't won before a chance to shine.

That was pretty much the response from all of the regular entrants during the winter contest and the fall contest. No one wants the last winner to quit. That's unfair and unhelpful. I can see maybe having people withhold their entries until the last minute, or maybe submitting throught pm, but even that is a bit ridiculous.

tallteen86, please take this with all due respect, but you seem to have made a few posts lately that seem to be.... well, kind of on the snarky side. I'm not sure what you are hoping to accomplish by talking to people like that, but it just makes people not want to listen to what you are saying, which might very well be some valid points. Perhaps you should reconsider how you are coming across when you re-read your posts before pressing submit?

With that being said, the spotlights turned out to be a heck of a lot more work than we had realized at the onset. While I agree, that the terminology 'weekly' should be removed, I doubt very much there will be a "thread dump' subforum made for such a purpose, or even an anime spotlight subforum.

The thread is already stickied and is already what was originally envisioned, and as Solitaire (and myself while I was here) have said, we/she was more than happy to have people submit spotlights, we/she just wanted people to use the ones currently there as a template and submit them, after checking with her about the title first.

If you are concerned about it, I recommend asking to do a title and once you have an ok, go ahead and work up the spotlight, then we can have something new in there!
