Full Metal Alchemist Ver 6: Shambala!

Yay Thank you Solitaire for letting me open this thread. Now as I know FMA on AS is soon getting near the end! The conclusion is very good so be sure to watch it! Enjoy yourselves! Talk hearty!

Is it me, or is Manga Winry a lot more tolerable than Anime Winry?? I like her..... but not anime Winry! (there are some major differences in her personality, in my opinion!) Like, She's not as much of a crybaby, and not as pushy to get into Ed and Al's business! Plus there's more of a romance in the manga.... (I think so anyway) And Manga..... is so much more different.... in terms of the Homoculi!! You'll be surprised, those of you who haven't read up to Vol.10 or something! >_<;;

I still like Ed..... But now my interest have also shifted to Envy (how the hell did that happen!?) It's weird because they honestly hate each other >_> (though Envy doesn't express as much hatred in the manga as he does in the anime.... another difference! )

Suddenly Ed and Al find and get the Philosopher's Stone, but the homoculi are still at large and many other conflicts have yet to be resolved. And whatever powers or miracles that stone is supposed to grant, it's not working; as a matter of fact, it's made Ed and Al kind of distant in a sense.

And do you mean distant from each other, or from other people? Just trying to clarify. But I see how you may prove a point. After what happens to Alphonse, Ed tends to stay away from everyone and refains from touching his younger brother.

Although Roy seems to be a little more concerned for the brothers after this. And so do many other characters who are involved with the Elric brothers.

Roy seems to be also disappointed in himself, which leads to his outcome at the end. I for one too thought that Ed wanted isolation. He didn't want to involve his brother, its just that thier relationship is that good. I'm going to be excited when AS finishes the series, then I can talk more about the philosophy of the Anime.

I just can't wait to hear what they sound in English rather than Japanese, which I've seen. And is Hoho-papa's VA as bad as they say it is?

If you're referring to Ed and Al's dad, I thought his voice was pretty good.

So far, everybody in the dub sounds good. I'm not disappointed with any of the characters' voices. Of course, maybe that's only because I never seen the Japanese version, but hey, it's hard to argue against the fact that FMA is one of the better dubs out there.

Hee! Don't worry! I'm always nice (liar) But I've grown to respect other people's opinions! In fact, I used to say I didn't like any of the Homoculi, But Now I like Greed and Envy.... >_>

Yes~s~s~! Trust me, it rocks! I think the reason I like it so much, is because it's DIFFERENT! And the Manga is more funny than the show (but it moves a lot faster....) And the characters are believable (to an extent) They have strong personalities..... But I like 'em X_X

okay, Hows about Ling? (exclusive to the manga!) But then again, something BAD happens to him later on... (I'm not telling!) But He's a free-loader! always making Ed pay for his meals

and He's good with a Chinese-Style sword..... And he (Kinda) beats up Envy...... ( >=0 ) huhum...... So many cool characters.....

Must be one of those things that gets excluded from anime. I dont remember any asian in the anime.

Ling is the last one in line for being Emperor of Xing(Arakawa must have done the rhyming thing on purpose) Anywho...Ling travels to Amestris to find the "key to eternal life" with his trusty Xingain bodyguard/ninja Ran Fan. Etc. etc. etc...Ling meets up with Edward after stealing his food quite a bit. Than viola!!

Lei-chan...I kinda sorta OWN LING TOO!!!! :grabs Ling by ponytail and hurries off with Edward in backpack and Envy under her arm as well:
