Welcome to the Anime Forum~! Here are some guidelines and pointers that will be useful to you as a part of our Anime Community:
- First off, just in case you haven't ventured beyond this addicting forum, let me direct your attention to this thread, Neoseeker Rules. Do me a favor and actually read it.
- Please do not talk about inappropriate material here. If it is a game topic, please post it where it belongs. Also, please keep pictures contained to this one thread, Anime Pics. Not everyone has the latest in computer technology and there are few things as annoying as waiting for a picture to finish loading.
- NEW! Included in inappropriate material is the discussion of illegal downloads. I will slap an instant ban on any such discussions. This may be the only warning you get. For more information on just why I take such a stance on Downloads, Pirates, and Bootlegs check out the following: Pirate Anime FAQ.
- Please do not SPAM. This includes pointless one-liners. (Be sure that I will delete such posts!) This also includes inviting other members to check out your own website. If you have something you wish others would look at, put it in your signature. Afterall, we want to keep the people on Neoseeker, not somewhere else.
- In addition to the no spam rule, I'd like to discuss double-posting. This is a no-no. I can understand that there are certain circumstances where it becomes unavoidable, but do try to keep it to a minium. I will merge (or even delete) most double-posts. One way to avoid double-posting is to make friends with your edit feature (which can be found in the lower right corner of your posts). Yes, I do realize that this feature is not available to non-members.
- Please do not quote a post if it comes just previous to your own. It is unnecessary. Also, if you are quoting a post, only quote th part you are responding to. Quoting an entire post is pointless if you are only responding to one point made in that post.
- Do not flame other members! Topics may be discussed here that you feel strongly about, and some people might have a different point of view than your own. We value everyone's opinions, so don't insult and/or swear at your fellow member(s). If you don't like an anime, fine, but try to say just what it is you don't care for. Be specific, "_____ sucks" is meaningless. Just be sure that you respect other's opinions as well.
- If you are going to make a post revealing the content of an anime, please put in a SPOILER! warning. This should be done in bold, red colors.
- Since it has become apparent that people cannot behave themselves in a semi-mature fashion, I am hearby closing all Hentai related threads, and will automatically close any new ones until such time that I am convinced that people can post in it intelligently.
- If this is your first time here at the Anime Forum, INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE. You can provide information about yourself that you want other people to know about: hobbies, likes, dislikes, bio, etc. Please don't create a thread to introduce yourself.
- BEFORE YOU POST A THREAD, SEARCH THE FORUM TO SEE IF THAT TOPIC HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED.
- If you have a general comment about Anime, post in our GENERAL ANIME DISCUSSION thread.
- If you have a question about Anime, ask in our ANIME Q & A THREAD
- Last but not least, enjoy yourself here at our Anime Forum. And if you have any suggestions to make this forum better, please let us (the mods) know.
