What is your favourite One Piece arc? Mine is probably the Arlong Park saga

The Enies Lobby Arc will always be my favorite arc. Robin's past was finally revealed and nearly everyone got a fight.

Water Seven / Enies Lobby was definitely One Piece at it's peak. Besides all the aforementioned reasons, it was the first time we got a Arc with a "typical Shonen" rule of the good guys being totally destroyed by the enemy, and then rising up to defeat them at the conclusion of the Arc. It's a Shonen tradition and One Piece doesn't really do it (rightly so - it gets boring if it's done in every single Arc).

I'm pretty sure Skypeia (the island you're taking about) was like, in year 2000, so you've missed about ten or more years of one piece. I don't even know where to begin to tell you what I've missed.

Skypeia is probably the worst arc, to me at least, which might be why you stopped reading/watching. But once you get through it the next arc (Or is the Foxy arc first? I can't remember if it was anime only or not, but it is short) is Water 7/Enies Lobby which is generally regarded as the best arc in one piece. So I would seriously suggest getting into it and reading it, since you have a lot to cover, watching would take forever.

Wakaman The Skypeia arc was Eps: 144-195. The series is currently on episode 583. So you're just a little behind.

Chapter wise the Skypeia arc is Chapters 217-301 and it is currently on chapter 697.

I'd definitely recommend the manga over the anime just to be able to skip past all the filler, and just youtube all the big fights if you want to see them take place.

That's only if you skip the Skypeia arc, otherwise you have near 500 chapters .

But honestly it is well worth it, One Piece is the only long running manga I've felt has maintained consistency and even managed to believably up the stakes without turning its main characters into walking gods.
