	I wouldn't know about the movie. I haven't seen it. I haven't even seen the series yet. But I think the movie is composed of the series, so even if you haven't seen the series, you wont miss anything. -------------------

	Actually, if you saw Tenchi on TV it wasn't Tenchi Muyo. That was the OAV. The TV series is called Tenchi Universe. It's readily available on DVD at most retail stores that sell anime or at Amazon.com. You can also find it listed on Ebay. Tenchi Muyo is a bit more adult in nature than Tenchi Universe. It's 13 episodes in length. Sadly, the OAV was never finished. Tenchi Universe is 26 episodes long. It is brought to a conclusion, although it sets itself up for an obvious sequel run. The main characters are: Tenchi Masaki - The boy Ayeka - The Princess from Jurai Ryouko - Space Pirate/demon/whatever Ryo-Ohki - The Cabbit/Spaceship Sasami - Eight-year-old sister of Ayeka, gourmet cook, arguably the most intelligent character in the series Mihoshi - Blonde, beautiful and braindead Galaxy Police Detective Kiyone - Brunette, beautiful and brilliant Galaxy Police Detective Washuu - Female mad scientist There are a ton of other characters, but those are the biggies. ------------------- *Sailor Keiichi, defender of internet morality and other improbable ideals!*

	I got a question. Is Usopps "5 ton hammer" really 5 tons?People might think he's lieing about it but everytime he uses it in the show and in the manga the people he hits are usually hit very hard, namely he killed a merman with it.I dont know if the 5 ton hammer is really 5 tons only answer me if you truely know the answer. -------------------

	The "5-ton" and "10-ton" hammers you see in many comedy anime series are a device borrowed many, many years ago from western cartoons. In particular, early Hanna-Barbera cartoons often showed characters using gigantic sledge-hammers/mallets with either "5 TONS" or "10 TONS" engraved on the side. In both the original cartoons and the anime context, the numbers do not refer to an actual weight. They are only there to indicate that the hammer is extremely heavy and therefore capable of delivering a powerful blow.
