This may not really be anime-related, but it's J-Pop/anime music-related so I'll take my chances here: Does anyone know of any sites that have the couple of CDs out by the group BeForU? Besides Amazon, they have one but it's not available. I saw they have some CDs out (most of their music is in the Dance Dance Revolution games) and I would love to get my hands on them, they are so awesome. Oh, and sites that accept US money, of course.

That sort of was it-that's the one album I found on Amazon.com (they say it's not available) but I think there was at least one or two others. A nice site that was but I don't like the payment options and I'm not the kind wanting to wait up to 3 months for shipping and arrival. Thanks for trying at least, appreciated.

And why am I not surprised at seeing that Naoki guy mentioned as producer on it?

Edit: Just bought it on Amazon now that they apparently have some on the way, I hopefully will have it in about 2 weeks.

Has anyone here ever read the Saint Marie manga? It's licensed by ADV Manga. I've read the first two volumes(the only ones that are out as far as I know) and I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about this awesome Manga.

Don't know if it's technically considered manga since it is Korean and not Japanese.

Technically it would be considered manga, even though Korean ones are generally referred to as manwha (Korean term).

And if ADV is the one putting it out, good luck to ever seeing more volumes.

As much as I love their dub work, they are really awful when it comes to releasing manga... or manwha. XD

As it is TokyoPop bought the Peacemaker Kurogane manga rights from them, because ADV dropped the ball on it.

I know XD. They said that the next(3rd) volume would be out by early 2006. We're already at 2007. @_@ It was getting to the really exciting part to. *is miffed*

Well TokyoPop has it now... not sure when they are planning on releasing it, but to the best of my knowledge they will be releasing all 5 volumes. Unfortunately Nanae Chrno didn't do more volumes than that and has moved on to other things now. (Including Vassalord, my most recent guilty pleasure)

I recently just bought and watched the Gate Keepers and Gate Keepers 21 series and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it of course left out a few things between them. While searching the internet for information about I came across the fact that a novel called Gate Keepers 1985 was made, which was supposed to explain what happens between GK and GK21 (as well as a sequel to the two manga volumes), however it was only released in Japan and is now out of print.

I've been searching for currently four days to get more information about this novel and where to find it, but the only thing I came up with was a fansite that gave some information about the contents of the novel (spoiler links), found here and here, which explained a few things that are missing, but not all of them, as well as screenshot of the cover.

However, this doesn't really give me the information I need to find an actual copy of it (such as the publisher, year it was published, ISBN number if it has one, etc...), so I'm pretty much still where I started four days ago.

I tried to look on the official gate keepers website that I got off of the anime dvd, but I get a search site instead of the official site.

I was wondering if there was even a slightest chance that anyone had heard of the Gate Keepers 1985 novel and could give me any information they can about it to help me on my search to find a copy of this book, any and all help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried the Japanese Amazon? I'm assuming as you are looking for the novel in Japanese you can read Japanese. Anyways, even if the book is out of print someone might be selling it. I know it's possible for individuals to list books and the like for sale (similar to eBay) so it might be worth a look.

I can't believe it... after five days and six search engines and all I had to do is ask here. Extreme appreciation LanDi Sama, as I believe they do have it. I don't know for sure though since everything is ??? (I think that has to do with my computer or something more than likely), so I can't read any of it.

Unfortunately, as of now I know extremely little Japanese (I ordered learning software just last week, but it'd still take awhile to learn it), but I have a friend that moved a couple years ago (keeping track my snail mail as he doesn't have internet/accounts and isn't allowed to use the phone for some reason...) and agreed to translate the book for me if I got it and sent it to him. So whenever I get my (assuming) computer to change the ???? to actual language, I can see if I can pick up a copy.

Thanks for the link Landi, they still have a copy of the Gate Keepers 1985 novel, but it's from a member selling it. I tried ordering it as soon as I I saw your link and found out that I couldn't get it shipped to Wisconsin, USA, so I sent a message to them and just recently got a reply saying they won't ship outside of Japan, so I can't get it from them.

Anyone happen to know anywhere else that sells rare and out of print books besides Amazon Japan and ebay? ^^;

It is true that the first series/season of Lupin III is discontinued? I really want to get the this part of the Lupin series and I can't seem to find it any where. If any one knows if it is discontinued or knows where I can find this it will be greatly apriseated. sp?
