Anyone know if the manga's the same as the anime? Or somewhat close? Because I've read most of the manga.

What do you mean? I thought Episode 3 was great! That episode wasn't filler anyways, as it was explaining in detail about Ed and Al's past and the Human Transmutation attempt - As well as showing the very first time Roy showed up...

Episode 10 is complete filler, as nothing that happens in that episode has an effect on any episodes that follow. Episode 35 is just about filler as well - It's a boring one XP Other than that, I don't see any filler in the anime at all

Also, even while your watching the series and you think one of the episodes is filler, chances are something will happen at the end of the series to classify that episode as not being filler (eg. Ep 11 and 12)...

About what Archer had in the bag--

I like this episode alot, it shows why Greed is really awesome. Izumi couldn't do anything, neither could Ed. I also like how all the homunculi want is to be human, while Greed just wants to live forever and keep on being greedy.

"I want money, I want women and eternity tops the list!"

And I actually laughed when Ed and Al saw Tucker and he started explaining why it wasn't his fault he was working with Greed.

Well I like Inuyasha and this show.I think you should give it a try.It's really great.It's about this boy named edward elric and his younger brother alphonse elric.Their mother is dead and after a failed transmutation to try and bring her back, ed loses one of his legs and one of his arms, while al loses his body.Ed ties al's aoul to a suit of armor using alchemy.Now they are on a sort of quest to find the philosopher's stone to try and fix their bodies.On the way they encounter people called homunculi(I so can't spell that)who are people made from failed human transmutations.They aren't human, and most of them want to use ed and others to help them make a philosopher's stone to become human.Ed also meets scar, a murderer who vows to kill all state alchemists, ed being one of them.I'm too tired to type anymore....XP

Thanks alot for the information HarvestMoonGirl. I think I may get it as I want something new to watch and change is always good.

I also love that moment when Al thinks Ed has arrived to save him, only to discover it is Izumi... XD Classic Al moment IMO...

Next episode is the uber fight sequence ...And also starts the pace for some very confusing events...I can already imagine what a lot of the posts here will wonder next week... ^^;;
