To be honest, I'd say Ed and Al get along quite well for brothers. Up until recently, they've been fully supportive of each other and have been working together to achieve their goals.


The few fights that they've had have just been little squabbles, almost playful. Most other brothers really fight and can't stand to be around each other at times.

I don't know about that. He doesn't think Al will tell him the truth, so there would no point in asking him, right?

He ran away to sort everything out on his own.

I mean, how would you feel if you found out everything you know about yourself is a lie?

I'm sorry, but you must be the only one who feels that way. If you really do feel that watching this anime is a waste of your time, then don't watch it! XD

Its not that I don't want to watch it. But it drags on horribly.

But then again, who doesn't want to watch Al and Ed stare at the floor all sad for 30 mins?

And by the sound of it, a lot of people agree with me...

I thought of as kinda foreshadowing. But then...I know what happens in the future ep.(mainly 25...which I can just think about...so sad.) Enth(or Tidus) can you clear something up for me...is this Envy a chick or a guy? My sister and I will not stop fighting about it.

2: almost all stories in anime is taking from myths/history and other things. Such as Dragonball, The main character was taken from the chinese mythology character, The monkey king. although much was altered. bleach uses old mythologies of death gods and such in thier stories but also altered it.

As you said,most of our anime derives from myths and legends,what we know as dragonball derived from the chinese myth of the monkey king of was a bad kind who was taught to do good by a girl.Alchemy is no different,based on real things,not just myth.And you can't forget shamanic alchemy..hehe

the monkey king thing of wat u say is only a half truth, in the myth, he was a very michevious person, beacause he had a large magnitude of power after learning long life, and he lives for almost 10000 years, he had to be kept and eye on him to stop his trouble on the world. They made him a god (now he lives forever) but the god position was so low, he got mad and left the heavens, so the gods gave him the 2nd(tied with a general) highest position. and he was satisfied. but then he found out it was only to keep and eye on him. he got made and threw a tantrum and began to cause havok, and he was unstoppable. the father of buddist, came and tricked him and captured him and sealed him away in the 5 finger mountian. the girl u talk about also follows buddism and told him to change his errors of ways and told his master he ws to aid in 500 years will come and free him. and he is to escort him from harm to collect the sacred scrolls to become a buddist god and to be cleared from human to god. so the monkey did when his time came, but he was always jumpy and didnt listen to his master. so the girl put on a headband on him that would cause him pain if he ever did something wrong. and then they travel to the west to collect the scrolls.

Last night's episode was a little dull, but it certainly builds up tension for the upcoming episode. The confrontation between the two brothers should be somewhat entertaining as long as we don't have another tear-jerker.

actually the part about whether al is real or not will become very important, it will lead to the important and dramatic ending!!!! and i garuntee if u dont find ep 25 sad ur not human

I was waiting for Ed to jump after him! LOL. He would have to metal legs after that.
