Forcing? Who's Forcing?

I have returned from Otakon. It was glorious.

WTF? When did all these new members show up? D: Im offline for most of today and this thread advances more than it did last week altogether.

But anyways, what did I miss? And what's Otakon?

The Player 75, Otakon is a Convention for Otaku. Otaku are nerds. In English, Otaku specifically means an anime nerd, but in Japan it's just a general term. And I have no idea where all these people came from. It's good though.

SkX, hold on. I'm gonna go read it now. Also yeah, Diebuster is great. But it's of course up to you to watch and see for yourself. Some of us may give you a hard time if you don't like it, but I promise I'll stick up for you. Everyone here is allowed their own opinions. Even if some of them are wrong. Like Maximus 3.

Toast, yeah I seem to recall you being super new. Wasn't Kratos also pretty new?

Yeah, I was the definition of new. Only finished three shows and still watched everything on streams.

Also, speaking of people whose opinions we don't agree with, what ever happened to Luis?

Stories? Well, the Happy Hyper Hentai Yuri Party was probably the highlight of the first evening. xD Though, it wasn't much of a party, but rather a workshop where people developed a same-sex couple and drew them in various... scenarios. It definitely wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but it got even more hilarious when old men attempted to describe in detail what their lesbians were doing to other lesbians.

We also went to the screening of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica finale which featured the screenplay writer, Gen Urobuchi and a few of the English voice actors.

The panel on Key was a bit disappointing. I was attempting to get my friends into their works, but they seemed to cater to old fans rather than newcomers. They did show clips of both the visual novels and anime, which was nice. They also gave out a Kanon DVD and an Air DVD to whoever could guess how many "Uguu"s were in a montage they showed. The answer was 58 of them.

Oh yeah, there was an Aya Hirano concert, as well, which we lined up for three hours a head of time. We sat four or five rows from the front of the stage. =D She sang a few of her newer songs, but of course, everybody got pumped up when she started God Knows..., Lost My Music, and the two Haruhi openings.

I also bought a couple posters, some manga, and a Holo PVC figure (HNNGGG). My wallet is sad, but it will recover. Eventually.
