Well, I've been going through my Airing "backlog" and I have to say that the season wasn't as bad as I initially thought.

Natsuyuki Rendevous is great. Definitely going to put it on top priority. Binbougami ga!, I'm hoping will help with my Gintama withdrawl. The first episode showed some promise, so I hope it'll keep up. Kokoro Connect was reminiscent of K-ON!, but I rather enjoyed it. Plus, E7: Ao is finally picking up.

That's not to say everything is good so far. Tari Tari bored me, but it was right before/during my slump. I'm contemplating whether or not to rewatch the first ep or to just press on. Also, Arcana Famigilia is already showing that it's going to squander it's potential.

I still have to watch Horizon S2 and SAO. Still debating on whether or not to watch MuvLuv. So any recommendations for this season?

Tari Tari's first episode bored me too for the most part. But episode 2 was much better and episode 3 was making me laugh left and right. I've really gotten into it now.

This season I really recommend Jinrui, Jinrui, Jinrui, dog days, Sword Art Online. You're doing pretty well with some of the stuff you started. What are you continuing from last season? Hyouka and AO? MuvLuv has been pretty good so far I guess. If horrible death is your cup of tea. And prepare for a boring set up first episode. Shit dawg nothing happens. Then episode 2 and you won't feel hungry for a day. I've pretty much watched all the shit this season as well. So I'm partial to Jinrui exclusively for best anime this season.

Kratos, Kuroko's Basket seemed boring to me.

Yeah once you manage to swallow TariTari's first 18 minutes or so, it really does pick up. It proves to have a great sense of humor. I need someone to laugh about episode 3 with. It was great. Currently I'm relying on /a/, which is never good.

AW is average, yes. It's not like I don't enjoy it, but it's pretty run-of-the-mill shounen. Nothing great can be said of it.

Dog Days is, to say nothing else, harmless. That's really the best way of putting it. Do you want a completely innocent, no depth, no worries, no real conflict show? It's Dog Days. It's really just a distillation of all the harmless pleasures anime has, making it the ultimate guilty pleasure. Clothing removal without really being lewd. Attacks turn opponents into little fuzzballs and no blood is ever shown. Just watch cute animal-eared girls fight each other harmlessly. Whatever mood you're in, you can watch it. It's completely and utterly inoffensive. XD

But yeah, again, Jinrui for my highest recommendation, and also Sword Art is good.

Kratos, yeah Jinrui is the only non-sequel that I highly recommend. Avoid? Oh yeah avoid that Imouto show. OH! Yeah avoid the hell out of Joshiraku. It's basically a bunch of Japanese wordplay and injokes that you're not cool enough to get. No seriously it's Japan's way of saying "*bleep* you non-Japanese audience, you'll never get these jokes." So it winds up being five girls talking in a room about shit you don't get. Like watching paint dry. Watch the ED though, that thing is like crack.

As if we needed to tell him that. Kratos if you want PLOT this season, Pinktits is the way to go. Redtits almost never has PLOT.

I'm back again with a very important question:

Is it worth it to see the Clannad movie?

It is an alternate and perfectly viable watch however the TV series is superior and things can be spoiled via the movie that may lessen the enjoyment of the TV series.

tl;dr: DON'T WATCH IT BEFORE YOU WATCH IT AFTER STORY

The Player 75, don't listen to people. I liked the Clannad movie and I watched it before After Story. I loved it. Obviously After Story is worlds better, but the movie is worth your time, and I don't feel like it really spoiled anything for me.

Eternal, hmmmm... Jinrui is basically an allegorical black comedy that went on a trip to Fun Land on acid. It's colorful and vibrant enough to be confused for YuruYuri and Dog Days combined, but plays itself out as a cynical satire of the kind seen in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. And the fun don't stop. The unnamed main character is voiced by Nakahara Mai (Nagisa from Clannad and Rena from Higurashi), so expect amazing tier voice acting. The pessimistic protagonist is a UN Mediator between humans and fairies, a fun-loving race with sweet teeth, permanent : D smiles, and a dangerously advanced level of technology. See below:



It's got a great sense of humor. I haven't gone through an episode without a few genuine laughs. Plus the OP and ED are just amazing. Easily the show I look forward to most each week.
