ANYHOOT I'm kind of an anime-nub around here, and I only have a few animes watched and watching (hereis my MAL) and I would really like some suggestions for newcomers like me. 	Your taste is not quite defined yet so I wouldn't know. I guess you can give Inuyasha a go but afterwards, it would be good if you go deeper than what has been aired in popular TV channels. -------------------

	Well its mandatory that I recommend FLCL, and I second the Gunbuster+Diebuster recommendation. And since I don't really have a great sample of your interests there, so I'm just kinda guessing on these next ones. You could watch Redline, I liked that, and I had no problems with its dub (because I heard you liked those)....and to give you some different genres to choose from try Steins;Gate, Denpa teki na Kanojo, and Welcome to the NHK. ------------------- \|\| Anime Forum \|\|

	Guys, I had more faith in you. You should be able to identify gateway titles everyone needs to watch. Also SPLENDID THREAD. Everyone needs this. Fullmetal Alchemist Cowboy Bebop Eureka 7 TTGL, Evangelion, Gunbuster/Diebuster, FLCL and other Gainax Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Nausicaa and other Ghibli titles Akira Paprika Card Captor Sakura Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (When you've gotten a few under your belt) Air, Kanon and Clannad (Prepare for tears) Mushishi Death Note (everyone has to at some point) Saikano Trigun Battle Angel Alita Lain and Haibane Renmei Eureka 7 I think that's a good start. I mean that's a list of anime that are iconic from a number of different time periods. For any anime fan I'd say they line up as historic landmarks in anime history that you just need to get out of the way as a fan. And you'll love them. They're all out of this world good.
