Oh cmon they don't all look like Aizen The masked guy did look a hell of a lot like the main bad guy from the latest Anime filler though.
If everyone looks like Aizen then you could argue that Szayelaporro looks like Aizen, only with long pink hair, which is absurd...and fabulous.
I'm not seeing the Aizeness much myself...Everyone just looks like Anime filler guys to me though. The Espada by comparison all had pretty interesting designs.
Personally I'm not thinking that these guys can Bankai on their own - they probably nick them off other people to use against their opponents, like what Ivan tried to do to Ichigo.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Yeah it was confirmed about a month or so back that he Anime was going to end. But it's no big deal. It'll come back in a few years. I would much much rather it take a few years out and then do the final arc justice than have a few years of crap filler only to come back to the canon with subpar animation.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I still enjoy Bleach a lot too, but it's plot has always been mediocre at best - it still has amazing characters, great art, and some wicked fights, which is why I keep reading and keep loving. Bleach may have overall deminished in quality quite a lot, but I'll still be sad when it eventually ends.
As for the current Arc, I'm enjoying it thus far since the pacing has been pretty good (well, amazingly good by Kubo standards). I just really really pray it has a satisfying conclusion.
Backgrounds excluding for obvious reasons, compare Bleach to other Manga and in terms of character art Kubo is definitely one of the best - if you ignore Obata Takeshi.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Mas, it's not particularly "individual character design" that I meant by character art, but things like anatomy and stuff. If you look at some close-ups of characters you can really see detail in the muscles, shading on finger joints, frown wrinkles around the eyes, and stuff like that. Kubo can do a lot of detail sometimes that a lot of Manga-ka either don't do or don't pull off as successfully.
And yeah Loly was shown to have survived thanks to an arrow shot by Ishida. Don't remember Menoly surviving though.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
In terms of "100% confirmation", Stark, Barragan, Ulquiorra, Szayelaporro and Arronerio are dead. Kubo said in an interview that some Arrancar "will maybe" return, but when questioned about specific Espada members, he said Grimmjow is extremely likely and Nnoitra, Yammy and Zommari are extremely unlikely.
Still liking the Arc, although the newest chapter was boring The three girls should have should summoned Allon from the beginning. Then they would have at least lasted more than 5 seconds.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
See, normally I would say that Kira would survive that easily since Matsumoto and Hiyori survived wounds just as bad / worse, but Akon did say that Kira's reiatsu "disappeared", implying that he just died. He's probably bullshitting us though.
Kubo seriously gets off on introducing new characters xD;
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
^ This is why it annoys me some damn much that no one bothered to go Bankai against Aizen.
Glad the action didn't go back to Ichigo this week. Very short chapter, but seeing match-ups is always interesting IMO. Now just Yamamoto, Kenpachi, Mayuri and Shinji need opponents. I hope Shinji takes on Buzzbee or the blond guy
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I do try to enjoy Bleach for what it is. I think as soon as you start looking into things too much or getting high expectations, that's when you end up disappointed.
However, was anyone else really annoyed at the chapter last week? I mean, the Captains have their Bankai stolen and all of a sudden they all start running around like headless chickens But hey, give them the choice to use their Bankai (ie the fight against Aizen) and they'll choose not to. It's as if they're only panicking because the choice was taken away from them. Like seriously, grow up.
Renji was the worst considering he's already been in a fight once before where his Bankai was sealed
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Yeah, the amount of times someone has stated "so and so is dead" when they've ended up surviving gives me the impression that with Byakua, he ain't dead until someone confirms it post-war.
This wasan extremely enjoyable chapter though. The fighting was intense, and seeing Kenpachi at the end was amazing. Unfortunately this is probably how Kubo will get around the whole "Kenpachi is crazy strong without a Bankai" thing - have him fight the leader who is probably the only person who could pwn him
There should be one the week after. Next week is a double issue, so no chapter there unless we get it a week early (which can happen with double issues). If that's the case then there won't be a chapter the week after that - but now we assume there is no chapter until just under a fortnight.
Not necessarily - it was stated a little while back that there was 16 large powers in the invasion. If you include the boss, and the four that are dead then that's just 11 left, which is just as much as Espada +Gin +Tousen +Wonderwyce +Aizen
Tbh I thought this chapter was really really good. It got some stick from other sites moaning about the lack of Kenpachi/Grimmjow, but it made Yamamoto a lot more interesting imo. It was always obvious he would one-shot that guy, but the emotional pull was very welcome. Kubo may get schtick for a lot of things, but chapters like this always feel right.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I thought the chapter was great, just like last's weeks.
Also all the "I can predict what is going to happen" jokes are seriously unfunny now. These threads have been full of them for the past 2-3 years. If anyone still hates what they're reading then just stop surely.
Anyway, I did find it quite amusing that Kenpachi was defeated off-screen, but as long as Yamamoto doesn't get defeated off-screen or one-shotted then it's fine with me.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I really hope As Nodt isn't really dead - I was really looking forward to seeing someone defeat him properly after the big build-up of his fear powers... o___o
Well, Ichigo's Bankai can't be sealed, so the same may (ie. probably) applies to Yama too. Likely some "too much reiatsu to seal" shizzle. "Did you really think my Bankai could be sealed by the likes of you...?"
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I think you guys are reading far too into things, personally. This [i]is[/] Bleach after all - Zangetsu being a compression-type Zanpakuto is likely he only reason it can't be sealed, and Shirosaki is likely still in Ichigo somewhere, mainly because because it gives Kubo an opportunity to power Ichigo up again.
Something I noticed in this weeks chapter was that Juha pulled his blade out of his medalion, meaning it may be a Bankai itself - my theory is maybe Juha and Yamamoto were students of a master from whom Juha stole the Bankai. Yeah, crack theory :thick
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Woo for early chapter
Very interesting that the similarities between Zanka no Tashi and Tense Zangetsu don't just end at them both being compressed blades - this attack of Yamamoto's is just like Mugetsu when Ichigo himself became a Getsuga...Now I'm thinking the parallels will continue to the point where this technique will either cause Yama to die or lose his powers...
I also found it hilarious that Unohana and Isane were just kicking back and chilling while their people are being annihilated xD
All of those seals that were used to steal bankai seem to have trapped the entire spirit of each zanpakutou. Otherwise Hitsugaya should still be able to at least communicate with Hyorinmaru, which he apparently can't.
This apparently isn't the case, as when As Nodt started using Senbonzakura Kageyoshi, his response to Byakuya was "you can't beat your Bankai with your Shikai", implying that he still had it.
Presumably in that case, Hitsugaya was just yelling "Hyourinmaru!!!" in panic - it's as if the inner spirit has been mortally wounded to have the majority of it's power stolen - but it's still there, apparently :/
I forgot about the duality of a zanpakutou's spirit, of there being two distinct forms when it comes to shikai and bankai. Why hasn't Kubo done more with that? There's so much potential in this series that he simply ignores.
Actually, the filler arc in the Anime about the Zanpakuto spirits rebelling came about because Kubo wanted to do it in he Manga, but thought it wouldn't fit the flow / he wouldn't get a chance to do it. That doesn't make the arc canon by any stretch of the imagination, but the idea for it came from Kubo
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I wouldn't go as far as to say that Kubo had any real say in what happened in that arc - more along the lines of "I wanted to do an Arc where the Zanpakuto spirits rebel, but I can't, so you guys do it" sort of thing...
That arc was actually really really really...For like the first 6 episodes. Then it got tiresome quickly - but I enjoyed it very much in the beginning Ichigo vs Zangetsu was awesome, and Ichigo/Shirosaki tag-team vs Muramasa was brilliant.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
What was I it I said before about overthinking things? This is Kubo - who cares if he can make a character raise the dead of people who were already dead to begin with and disintergrate into reishi when they die? Kubo raises a middle finger to logic. I'm just rolling with whatever happens now without overthinking anything and as a result I'm thoroughly enjoying this fight thus far
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I...guess so? xD; Presumably spirits can reproduce. They can do just about everything else. One could also argue that if a soul was obliterated by Yama then it didn't disintergrate into reishi - it simply became ash. Yama's effectively summoning all that ash...Gah! I sense overthinking! Must stop! Must stop!
Anyway, about time Juha pulled out his Vollstandig next week I reckons.
With how the fight is going does anyone else think Yamamoto will actually win and there will be some even stronger evil power that was behind Juha? I think it sounds pretty dumb but that's how it looks like things will go.
Lots of people on the BleachAsylum forum are predicting that the blondie bishonen Quincy will turn out to be the real big bad.
When Byakuya was "supposidely" killed, Juha was speaking to Blondie, and referred to the Sternritter as "our Sternritter", implying that they could be more like partners than captain and subordinate. Then again, Aizen would have probably still referred to the Espada as "our Espada" when talking to Gin.
And look how that turned out. Gin tries to kill Aizen...
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Disappointed with this chapter So the big boss was just a puppet/fake all along...Doesn't seem very satisfying. Would have actually preferred Yama to lose than this.
Even with the "real big bad" hiding behind the shadows, it doesn't seem like much of a threat since we just saw Yama dominate with such an unbelievably powered Bankai.......Unless Blondie's real name turns out to be Juha Bach?
Also disappointed with the explanation of why certain Bankai can be stolen...Because they've seen them before and had an opportunity to analyse them? And Ichigo having his Bankai for 2-3 years isn't a long enough period of time? Even Szayel's sealing abilities were better than that xD
Wouldn't be at all surprised in that case if Ikkaku's Bankai can't be stolen because only a few people know of it's existence, and Renji's since he learnt Bankai at the same time as Ichigo... :/
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
^ I quite frankly wouldn't be surprised by a scenario whereby the Spirit King wanted the Soul Society exterminated so that after-life can begin again afresh. Enlisting Quincy's who exterminate Hollows rather than cleanse their Souls and sends them to Soul Society would fit in with that ideal.
...I also wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Kubo continues his troll spree by having Yamamoto one-shot Blondie next week, just as we were expecting him to have some real importance x]
But that was pretty lame. So that Sternritter was able to beat the shit out of Kenpachi without getting hurt or using his sword. That was fine when we thought it was Juha Bach who did it, but since it was just a plain Sternritter, rather lame.
Yeah, but keep in mind that this copycat is/was able to copy people's powers and abilities and not just their appearance (Mangastream had a much better translation).
The best way to think of it, is as if Yamamoto was fighting a one-off Kage Bunshin. At least we know Juha won't be able to pull this again. On his part it was a pretty clever tactic though, because he now knows all of Zanka no Tachi's abilities.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
It was a decent chapter. Some people online have been quite annoyed saying that Yama's death was quite pathetic, and I guess in a way that's true, since he couldn't fight back with any kido or that awesome hand-to-hand combat he used against Wonderwyce. It's basically the equivilant of Juha one-shotting Yama 4 weeks ago, which would have sucked.
Also, Buzzbee survived, surprisingly, which means As Nodt and Nanana probably did as well...Was nice for Zero Squad to get a namedrop too. Kubo hasn't forgotten about them which is nice.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Don't forget Fullbring
Not to mention that the form he used to defeat Aizen was supposed to be the perfect hybrid of Shinigami, Hollow, Human and Zanpakuto. So throw Fullbring and Quincy into the mix too and whatdoyaget? Lameness! >:]
I'll guess it was brought up once hundreds of chapters ago?
It's what Quincy use to block swords with their bare hands, or to heal themselves from attacks that would kill a normal human (eg. twisted neck). It was used and explained a good few times by Opie, and His Majesty even mentioned a few chapters ago that Yama's Bankai would have vapourised him instantly if not for his Blut Vene.
I was actually thinking that Urahara was aware that the quincy would eventually try to invade the soul society so he secretly involved Ryuken or Ishida in the sword that gave ichigo his powers back.
This is my thought too. Kisuke always seems to know way way more than he's letting on, in pretty much every situation there's ever been. This is a conspiracy to make Ichigo strow enough to beat Juha...
Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I took it to mean simply that the wall around the Seireitei is usually protecting the King's Realm high in the sky, but has been lowered to Soul Society for quite some time now because of all the shit that's been happening there.
Really think those characters are pretty damn ugly. I'm getting the sinking feeling now that we probably won't see any of the Captains fight anymore (apart from maybe one or two, see: Unohana) which means there'd be many unknown Bankai left at the end >.< Eheheh...
Also, I'm gonna take the statement about their strength with a pinch of salt. The last time we heard about a person having a garunteed higher power than a Captain were the VastroLordes, who then just get used as a plot-device to make the Captains look good, see: Shunsui beating Starrk with only his Shikai (yes I still haven't gotten over it)
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
So I guess this means Byakuya will be restored to full health in a chapter or two >_>
I don't tend to get annoyed by Bleach that much these days, because it's not worth it and just causes headaches, but I'm pretty annoyed at the inconsistancies of why Unohana's healing abilities are now suddenly not good enough. She was able to fully heal a Hiyori who was cut in half, and yet all of a sudden cannot heal Rukia and Renji who have just been beat up? Renji simply received a OHKO punch. I wish this could have gotten more explanation as to why, but it's Kubo, so it's probably "just cause".
I really don't trust these guys though...The lead dude in particular is so overly happy that I can't help but think he has some agenda. Ah well, at least we're FINALLY seeing what's going on in Heuco Munda next week, which I actually cannot wait for.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Hated this chapter I've gotta say. Feels like Kubo is bringing old characters back for no good reason other than because this is the final arc. Bringing back Ganju and the Fullbringers? Really?? Ugh. If they actually get their own fights later on then I'll be doing some serious eye-rolling. I'd quite happily never see them again.
Besides, I know Ginjou and the old guy were killed, but wasn't Tsukishima supposed to have survived along with Shishigawara??
Well Grimmy is confirmed now but we only saw his waist, which sucked.
Also, all you need to reach the spirit palace was Kuukaku's cannon? Then what the hell do you need a key for?
Well spotted! This didn't even cross my mind...If the Ouken isn't at least mentioned in the next chapter, then Kubo has messed things up possibly more than ever...
And yeah that is Grimmjow. You can see it's someone clearly wearing an Arrancar's Shihakusho, and it wouldn't be Aizen because he was sat comfortably in the underground prison at the time refusing to move...Plus Ichigo would be a lot more aggigated by recognising Aizen's voice than Grimmjow's x]
The Fullbringers don't need to become Shinigami - they would still have their Fullbringer powers (there's no reason to suggest they shouldn't) - although Ginjou could probably become a full-fledged Shinigami since he used to a Substitute originally. Not that anyone gives a crap. I bet there isn't a single person in the entire fandom excited about the fact Kubo decided to bring back the King Bradley lookalike who got one-shotted by Kenpachi...Lame...
Plus, when you die and go to the Rukongai as a spirit, all you have is rags for clothes, and yet the Fullbringers kept their original clothing...? Oh c'mon!
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Oh c'mon we could write a far more entertaining ending than that! Tbf I could easily see Kubo producing an ending that involves Ichigo sacrificing himself to be the new Spirit King, thus fulfilling his ambition to "protect".
Isshin is ex-Zero Squad fo sure. And now it's almost 100% likely that he's Kaien / Kukaku / Ganju's uncle now too thanks to a couple of chapters ago.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
You gain the name of Kenpachi when you become Captain of the 11th Squad too, so everyone there had the Kenpachi surname but weren't related...so Unohana was presumably the founding Captain of 11th Squad but stepped down to focus on healing...This makes the fact that Yamamoto told Unohana not to get involved when the Quincies invaded all the more interesting...
...Wow. You know what this means...Character development!! This is a revolution for Kubo...On the other hand, everything that happened with Renji was bollocks.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
That whole page spread of Unohana's face was magnificent - almost sent a shiver down my spine. Once again I found myself not giving a crap about Ichi and Renji, but the rest was sweet. I get the strong feeling this entire fight / training will happen off-screen.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Nah he didn't get stabbed. Representation of fear sounds about right.
Bloody fantastic chapter this was IMO. Really honestly thought this was all gonna happen off-screen, as it's the first time in years we've gotten a full fight with just Zanpakuto rather than Ceros and Getsugas flying around every other page. Loved it Really looking forward to next week now.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
I really like this chapter too, though not as much as last week. It is kinda humorous though that however strong Ken-chan was before it paled in comparison to his strength when he was just a snot-nosed kid, haha xD
I guess this explains what happened at the end of last week too. Kenpachi really WAS stabbed in the neck. And Unohana instantly healed him...Not a bad training tactic really. I was really expecting some kind of "Kenpachi awakens his true power by fighting the most exciting opponent of his life" - but at least this outcome was a lot more interesting.
It is hilarious however that Unohana can instantly heal fatal wounds, but the only reason she couldn't heal Rukia or Renji or Byakuya is simply a plot-device to get those guys to the Royal Palace. Cop out~! Heheh
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Yes, but the interesting difference was that Kenpachi wasn't gaining a new power, he was unlocking a power he used to have. I kind of feel this battle is over now - can't see Unohana going Bankai, although she soo should.
Yeah, doesn't look promising for the end of the series. Oh and Enth , please go back to moderating the DB forum. That place is destroyed without you.
Haha I'm humbled by your kind words, although I wouldn't dream of modding there again, as cool as it was the first time around. It's easy to see why I quit right?
Nah guys it's true that Kubo does get genuinely ill a lot, although it's fun to think of him being a real-life version of Hiramaru from Bakuman x3
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
New chapter is out - even by typical standards this chapter felt wayy too short, and quite underwhelming too.
Unohana's Bankai looked...interesting? Although it's hard to pinpoint what it actually does unless it has both an extremely deadly ability (melting the flesh off your bones) and an extremely powerful healing ability (restoring flesh onto your bones).
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
It's really hard for me to find the enthusiasm to care about Ichigo as a character...
He's effectively in the same position now as the beginning of the Fullbring Arc since he can't fight. Presumably this will lead to him awakening his (I almost can't bring myself to say it) ....Quincy powers.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
It would be nice if Kenpachi were to be the one to take down Hascwald, or whatever his name was...Blonde guy. We all know deep down that if Ken-chan fights the real Juha Bach he'll be one-shotted and rescued by a powered-up Ichigo just as the latest way for Kubo to demonstrate how much he's powered up by.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
It's been theorized for years that Isshin's real surname is Shiba, and it was pretty much confirmed a month or two back with that chapter with Shukaka and Ganju in it.
Anyways, it was obvious Ichigo's mum was a Quincy too ever since the end of his fight with Juha, so there were no shocks here. Nonetheless it's great to fiiinally see some Isshin flashback. It cancels out the annoyance of having to deal with Ichigo dealing with emoness for the billionth time.
However there is something that is bugging me and i doubt that it will eve rbe answered, if ichigo's mother was a quincy, then why she couldnt at least and i meant at least hurt the stupid hollow and save ichigo instead of having to sacrifice herself? given she is family of Bach who just curbstomped soul society
Because shes only been a Quincy for a few weeks since thats when Kubo thought of it Plothole resolved!
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
We're still making illusion jokes? I didn't realise those were still meant to be funny ^^;
I wouldn't take that line of dialogue too seriously if I were you. What Isshin meant was "you're not just a Shinigami" or "you're not a Shinigami. You're a Shinigami/Quincy hybrid".
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
So you think being the son of a Shinigami doesn't make you part Shinigami...?
Anyway, we're finally in TBtP2 territory now Confirmed to take place after TBtP...And Aizen is pulling the strings - looks like we're in for a hilarious few weeks xD
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Matsumoto and Hitsugaya aren't the problem, as they only went into Ichi's bedroom once and never saw his family. I did some working out, and this flashback must be happening around 20 years ago, so not long before Ichi was born. Rukia joined the Gotei 1# at some point in the past 12 years, so even though she has met Isshin in the real world she wouldn't have known his true identity.
The 10th Squad Captain has recently died at the time of TBtP, so Isshin must have become a Captain just after that.
As great as TBtP was, I really hope this isn't gonna be a rehash, with Isshin being attacked by an Aizen experiment and fleeing to the world of the living.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
No, Hitsugaya's case still applies since he's one of those people born once in a generation born with gifted power.
Let me elaborate; a Zanpakuto is created when a Shinigami passes their spiritual energy into an Asauchi. Which means that that power must have already been inside of that Shinigami - it's just most people aren't able to communicate with them, see their form and learn their name until they get sufficiently strong enough to be eligable to learn Shikai. Since Hitsugaya was one of those gifted fellows, he had an encounter with his "power's" form at a young age.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Credit where credits due I certainly wasn't expecting that. Kudos Kubo! This could be an interesting development...As long as Aizen doesn't pull a "it was my plan all along for you two to fall in love and have a kid" I'm good Sucks that there isn't a chapter next week...
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
We all noticed - thats why no one just came out and said it since it was that obvious. And two of the folks specifically mentioned the words Ichigo and Hollowfication
Maybe Shinigami/Quincy qualities aren't the only things Ichigo inherited from his parents...
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
All those "jumping around storylines" you described, (Muramasa etc) were all filler storylines that weren't in the Manga. They were randomly thrown into the Anime to stop it from catching up to the Manga and running out of material to convert. Its best to think of them as side-stories or alt universe storylines.
As for the Arrancar executioners, they were fought whilst Ichigo was fighting Ulquiorra. Rukia fought their leader whilst Renji and Chad took care of the rest of them.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
For a moment there I thought she was gonna use that "absorbing" ability to defeat it, like Opie did with Ayon and gained his powers. That would have explained how it ended up being passed on to Ichigo...
Still, even to beat it at point blank range means she's incredibly strong. Captain-rank. When Uryu has only ever been Vice-Captain rank forever.
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
Lots of Urahara talking went on a bit...Loved that Isshin basically told him to shut the hell up because his explanations were taking up valuable time. This explains how Isshin recovered his powers too; they returned to him when Misaki died...
Remember guys, no chapter next week 'cuz of Golden Week
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
This whole "the REAL reason you're mum died that night" smells an awful lot like it's going to be a massive asspull, so I'm bracing myself for it...
Rest of the flashback has been okay though - I actually wouldn't mind seeing Masaki and Isshin doing a bit of slice-of-life for a chapter. Anyone else she acts almost exactly like Inoue? Apart from the whole being able to take down an Arrancar at point blank range rather than cry and plead with people not to get hurt...
re: Bleach 15: Save Yourselves the Trouble, its All Going to be an Illusion in the End
New chapter was my favourite for quite some time. Lots of development on lots of fronts, and fiinally some potential back-story / character development for Komomura! I had convinced myself he wasn't gonna get anymore significant screentime for the rest of the series so this makes me very happy, as he's one of my absolute favourite characters
